I went hoping to try something different and the Tom Kha Kai soup caught my attention, but honestly, it was disappointing. It tasted like chicken curry, and I ordered the shrimp version. It seems like they use the same broth for both options. On top of that, it had no spice at all, even though online it says Tom Kha Kai is supposed to be spicy. My friend’s Pad Thai was pretty average too and didn’t justify the price.

I ordered War Wonton soup and it was not what I expected. Usually wonton soup has a chicken broth but this tasted like Curry, which wasn’t pleasant. Service was fast. If I ever return I will avoid the soup.

Sitting right across Weaverville Joss House (雲林廟）, this restaurant is a natural reasonable for lunch after visiting the temple. Great service by the waitress, attentive and accommodating, making us feel like having lunch at home. This place has the welcoming atmosphere. The decoration and furniture makes sitting here like being guests at someone’s else home. We had hot sour soup, perfect for winter time, snow white chicken, good size and flavor for the family to share, and the beef skew, tender inside while crispy outside. Chinese style painting, relief sculpture, lantern, display and artifact offer extra artistic feasts after meal. Will love to dine here again.

Very neat little Asian restaurant with Chinese offerings along with some Thai options as well. The two dishes that we decided on were very reasonably priced but I do have to say that the overall food quality was not as good as I am accustomed to having compared to other restaurants in this same arena. Service was great with friendly accommodating staff. it was an interesting spot with some outdoor seating for nice days in addition to the indoor dining.

Expensive, not good quantitiesfor price and they continue lowering standards of meals over time. I just bought pad thai today and I buy pad thai at least once a month from here I ordered the chicken and shrimp which I usually do, When I first started ordering from here I got about 5 to 6 prawns Which has continued to decrease In my pad thai, now just 2 tiny ones and far less chicken They do not use liners in the to go Styrofoam containers and it melts plastic into food sometimes which is disgusting. Fix your restaurant and serve better quality and consistent quality. And I might consider coming back, but right now.I’m absolutely disgusted with this place. The waitresses however have always been nice.

On a recent trip to Weaverville, and I had takeout from Asian Taste. It was very good, large portions, and the price was fair. The service was swift and I felt welcome there. Only one small thing, after I drove away from there, after I got back to where we were staying it appeared we didn’t get the egg rolls with her dinner. Any way, We will eat there again and recommend to friends traveling here. Art

Can’t comment on service. Just picked up a to go bag. Twice my dish had about 4 peas and 5 pieces of diced carrot. Can’t imagine breaking the bank by adding a few veggies. Tasted fine.
