I’m quite shocked how much food they gave me after all of the Chinese takeouts I’ve been too! It’s no wonder that this place has received higher ratings. This plate I have can get you full in no time unless you share it or save up for dinner later. The food here is even tasty. That two-item combo costs around $13!
I heard that this restaurant also serves à la carte, but you can also go through fast-food style like what I had today. Place wasn’t really big but the seating area in a way stands out. You can probably wait there until your order is ready. Also, I was scrolling through the foods from the display. Seems that many people ate here during lunch while I came here for dinner. Doesn’t seem that they have plenty of options from the display for combo orders, but that’s alright.
Honestly, I thought that the Spicy Orange Chicken would be very spicy, but gladly, it isn’t. I was hoping that I don’t end up drinking too much water from severe spiciness. I have tried the regular Orange Chicken from a similar place, but didn’t like it.
This will be one of the favorite Chinese takeouts I will go to for now on. Looking forward for more!

Everyone greeted politely . Gave me bad energy. Took ten minutes before i was ask to order. Got my food and didnt say anything like have a good day thank you i say this because they were being nice to every other person. Really bad energy. Also food had no protein theree like 10 peices or less of beef idk if thats normal. But it sure dont feel right.

It’s obvious why this place is so highly rated. If you’ve eaten Chinese food in California since you were a kid, like I have, this is the classic experience. It’s kind of set up like a Panda Express, so depending on when you go in, the food may have been sitting there for a little while but it’s still good.
The menu section is exceptionally large, offering specials, combos, and a wide variety of soups that you typically don’t find at most takeout Chinese restaurants. With that said, the portions are huge, something you’ve become accustomed to when getting California Chinese food. Food. Can expect the kind of plate that your mother delivers to you right after she questions if you’ve been getting enough to eat.

We love Asia Express Newark. This is a carry out establishment. Their hot table is full of tasty classic favorites to choose from, but they have a good menu of specialties as well. Very good service on the spot. And the value for your buck is exceptional. They offer catering as well for your special occasions. We have used them for several of our family functions with excellent suggestions, on time pick up and the food is always hot and ready to serve. You may find yourselves coming back again and again just like us.
