We came here for dinner after seeing the giant pink building on the corner and wondering what it was (you can’t miss it)! All the staff were super friendly and attentive. I loved the decor and ambiance inside! The food was all delicious! I highly recommend trying this place out if you want to try Mexican food that’s not the regular old tacos and burritos you can get anywhere else.

Don’t go there if you are hungry!!! Place is cute and charming, but the food is okay and the menu is very pricey. We ordered appetizers, entrees and drinks and we left hungry. Very small amount of chips and extra were not offered, the portions are really small for a Mexican place and the entrees were not less than $35!!!!!!! We spent $150 and left hungry. Thankfully we found a burrito place nearby where we finished our meal for only $10. Anyway, great place for a first date but definitely not a place to eat.

This place was better than I expected. The only thing I could even complain about is probably the seating. Even then, it was not a HUGE deal. We felt very welcome from the moment we walked in. Our server checked on us many times throughout the night. The flavor and temperature of everything we had was great! From something as simple as the beans, to the meats and sauces all had proper balance in flavor. I wish we would have come sooner.

Yum. As in DELICIOUS! I sought out this place for the Cocinita Pibil and Mole sauces – and they have a plate with BOTH! And both were delicious. Portions were reasonable and prices also reasonable. Service was friendly and fast (and they even were kind / patient enough to put up with me practicing my Spanish). Love this spot and loved the most excellent flavors!

The flavors here are excellent! This is not your typical Mexican restaurant with giant plates of burritos, enchiladas, tacos, etc, most of which are relatively flavorless or all taste the same. Asi has a limited number of dishes that are all incredible. Portions are smaller than we Americans have become accustomed to, but it is still enough to fill a healthy adult. Prices seem on the high end when looking at the menu, but when you consider just the cost to the consumer of the high quality cuts of meat and other ingredients, you quickly realize that you would spend the same to eat as well at home.
The chips are homemade and delicious. The fresh guacamole is a welcome treat. It is definitely worth treating yourself to Asi Es La Vida at least on occasion.

I went here for the first time for timeleft and i was blown away by the food, the vibe and it’s unique atmosphere! It feels like I’m in mexico city with it’s authenticity! This place isn’t your typical Mexican restaurant and it clearly stands out as one of the best in the valley! Highly recommend! I’ll be coming back here to try the other dishes! As for parking, you can park by the street or the one across the restaurant. The entrance is at the back with a very speakeasy vibe!

AMAZING! We were trying to go to another restaurant nearby and they were an hour and 45 min wait so they suggested checking out Asi Es La Vida. Best suggestion ever. This place is a find. Enter through the back near the kitchen and you are brought to a quiet cozy dining area with a small bar. There was live music the night we were there and they were great. The food was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and flavor for days. The service is beyond exceptional. I cant wait to go back. Try the Enrollado de Res.

What a treat! Asi Es La Vida is an excellent place to dine. The food and service were top notch. I took my sons and a few of their friends out to dinner at the restaurant. We were met with a wonderful waitress that tended to our every need. The food was EXCELLENT! Very authentic, flavorful, and filling. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, with a feeling of being in a small home. I will be returning to Asi Es Vida!
