Stopped by a bit early before the place was officially open, hoping to grab something quick for my son. Alex went totally above and beyond. He didn’t have to help us at all, but he took the time to hand-cut fresh strawberries so my son had a snack. It was such a small moment but such a big kindness, and it genuinely made our day.

If everyone brought the kind of friendliness and care that Alex did, the world would feel a lot nicer. Absolutely appreciate him!

Exceptional Dining Experience, My recent visit was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambiance, outstanding service, and delectable cuisine that together made for an unforgettable dining experience.

Exquisite Cuisine: The food is absolutely top-notch. I started with the Seared Scallops, which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with a delicate citrus sauce. For my main course, I opted for the Grilled Ribeye Steak, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The sides, including the truffle mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts, complemented the steak wonderfully. The dessert menu is equally impressive, and the Chocolate Lava Cake I had for dessert was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

Creative Menu: The menu at Ashwood is both diverse and creative, offering a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every dish, and the culinary expertise shines through in the unique flavor combinations and elegant presentations. Whether you’re a meat lover, seafood enthusiast, or vegetarian, there’s something on the menu to delight your palate.

Impeccable Service: The service is impeccable. From the moment we were seated, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Our server provided excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was flawless. The timing of each course was perfect, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace without feeling rushed.

Inviting Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Ashwood is both sophisticated and inviting. The interior decor is stylish and modern, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that create a cozy yet upscale ambiance. The attention to detail in the decor enhances the overall dining experience, making it suitable for any occasion, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a business meeting.

Exceptional Drinks: The beverage selection at Ashwood is impressive, featuring an extensive wine list, creative cocktails, and a variety of local and international beers. I particularly enjoyed the signature cocktail I tried, which was expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. The knowledgeable staff are happy to provide recommendations to complement your meal.

Great Value: Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at Ashwood Restaurant are very reasonable. The portion sizes are generous, and the overall dining experience offers excellent value for money. It’s clear that the restaurant strives to provide an exceptional experience at a fair price.

Convenient Location: Located in Bellevue, Ashwood is easily accessible and offers ample parking nearby. The central location makes it a convenient choice for both locals and visitors looking for a memorable dining experience.

it offers an exceptional dining experience with its exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere. The creative menu, high-quality ingredients, and attention to detail make it a standout choice for any dining occasion. I highly recommend Ashwood Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a top-tier meal in Bellevue. A perfect five-star experience!

Got a lot of time? You’ll need it eating here. To say the service here is lackadaisical would be the most amazing of understatements. While the place is almost empty, it took about forty minutes to get our food. First, we ordered smoothies to start. Nothing happened for a long time–we could see the smoothie-making station from where we sat. After fifteen minutes or so, we were given an update that some of the fruit wasn’t available, and had to be gotten out of the freezer. We were given no option to change our order, etc. Somewhere in there, the waiter finally took our order for our breakfast. It took a total of 30 minutes to get our smoothies, and another 15 minutes to get our meals. The food is good enough, although the hashbrowns are very oily. The smoothies are actually quite good.

It’s not actually that big a deal that we were kept waiting for so long, as we are on vacation. However, it makes me wonder how long the folks who live in this retirement community have to wait for service in different aspects of their lives. This place would do very well to improve training for their staff.

We found this restaurant listed on a dining for miles program, so didn’t know much about it but the online menu looked good. When we walked in we discovered this is the eating establishment of a retirement community, but their participation in the miles program suggests they were trying to attract outside business.

The one star is because the service was glacially slow. They had to try, really hard, to be that slow. It took 25 minutes to get water and 30 to get a smoothie. Here’s the worst part. The staff to customer ratio was 1:1.5. That’s to say, there were four staff (waiter staff, not kitchen staff) to six, that’s right, 6, customers!

As of this writing, still waiting on a fried egg sandwich. I’m not going to wait to post this, because if I did, it might never get finished.
