We went here for the second time just to give them another chance and good thing we did! I ordered the Philly cheese steak with French fries and my friend ordered the bacon cheeseburger with French fries and let me just say, I haven’t had that good of a philly cheese steak in a very long time. The French fries were delicious as well. Nice and crispy and stayed crispy even when they got a little cold. My friend said the bacon cheeseburger was delicious as well. Cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend this place.

The booths to the left of the entrance aren’t comfortable. Also, the back of the first & second booths are one piece & not stable. When someone from the other table pushes back you will feel it quite a bit immediately! Gets to be obnoxious. There’s other seating downstairs. The balcony was closed, that’s our preference! But the bartender/waitress was great! Food was delicious!!

Well , I was here in September it’s now December and I went back for the good food …… HOW EVER ….. SOMEONE CHANGED THE MENU !! They took off alot of good stuff and jack prices up ! $31 for a Mahi Mahi ??? Get real !! My brother ordered the shrimp basket ($16) and they brought out pop corn shrimp ! I was not expecting much from this place when I first stepped into it. But I got to tell you, it had the feel of a Cheer’s. The entire staff was very friendly, and acted like they wanted to be there. Ashley’s did not have that new shiny metal modern look so many places have, but more like a very comfortable living room. The place really need some updating, but not to change it’s look and feel.
Now on to to food, I have now been here several times, and have yet to be disappointed. I have had their Country Fried Steak, Ruben sandwich, and a Friday night special, called the Fish Fry.
Let me tell you about the Fish Fry. They give you this HUGE piece of fried Haddock and it is delicious. Perfectly cooked, flaky with a batter that did not overwhelm the flavor of the fish. You would think they would use one of the local fishes, but this was a very good choice. Loved it.
They also have a good beer and wine selection, as well as a very nice happy hour,.
Parking sucks, as the parking lot is a far distance from the entrance, and looks like it has not been maintained this century, but it is a only a small distraction for one of the better watering holes I have been to in a very very long time.

First time here, really cool spot, kind of quirky, which I absolutely love with the decor. Sat right next to the fireplace, had a cup of onion soup some hot wings and a few cold beers. Soup was great hot wings with House made blue cheese was great ( even got some to go) service was super friendly. Don’t be in a big hurry if you come here but it’s super chill and laid-back. I will definitely be back on wing Thursdays.

Was here a few years ago for the first time and was not impressed. Heard new people took over but just hadn’t been back. On a whim decided to try it again last night. Food was very good, and fresh didn’t taste heated up or like it had been sitting all day. Prices are higher I put $20+. Kids meals are $10 adult meals are $16 and up. I will definitely go back as long as food and service stay like it was last night.

Quirky place. Soup was awesome, sandwich was good. I’d like to try other options next time. I tasted a French fry off my co-worker’s plate. Regular steak fries (no coating) would be better. Service was superb.

I love the quiet atmosphere (the bar may get a little loud during the after work hour) but there’s plenty of places to sit away from there- food is really good – new owners changed to a much better supplier and trust me it’s really made a difference, The great cook (Troy) came back too. They have specials every day. You’ve gotta come and check it out. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Ashley’s have been around a long time and we have been going for decades.
This place is definitely popular because of the atmosphere and what they is a haunted old train station building.
It’s a great feel inside and outside of this place. You have to visit it just because of that, and who knows you may see or feel the presence of a ghost
Now for the food. They have a wide selection of choices but unfortunately this restaurant is hit or miss kinda place. Lately they stopped serving bread service. Always enjoyed that myself.
The service is always good and we always enjoyed going but we limit it to about once a year these days or when we have visitors and want to them somewhere unique.
