Today we held our daughter’s baby shower at Ash and Oak. We went with a Pizza Party theme. We are just so thrilled with everything from start to finish! First of all the food is so delicious. We have enjoyed everything we have ordered. Today 3 appetizers, Caesar salad and 4 different pizzas were our choices for the shower. Everyone raved and the staff boxed up for us what was left over, which was not much which tells you how so much was enjoyed. The 2 servers we had were absolutely delightful. So helpful, friendly and met our every need with great attentiveness! The atmosphere is just so inviting
, so comfortable but yet trendy. So many raved as they are already customers and others said they would definitely be back. We had a great time and we highly recommend a visit for a wonderful meal or booking an even. You can’t miss. One more thing, when we’ve eaten there the owners make the rounds making sure the customers are taken care of and happy with their meal.

This place did not disappoint. The food was incredible. We got the gnocchi trio and meatballs the start. I’ve never had fried gnocchis before, so it was a real treat. I loved all 3 of the sauces. And those meatballs are easily some of the best I’ve ever had. They paired deliciously with the whipped ricotta.
For the main choice we shared a Balboa pizza and their special for the night, lobster raviolis. And wow, that wood fire cooked pizza is incredible. You have to try the Balboa if you like short rib. The raviolis were also delicious.
You can really taste the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the flavor. And the staff is so friendly. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

First visit- 11/5/25

So I been wanting to try this place since it open and finally got to. My nephew came out to try it with me & for us to catch up with each other.

First off, the decor and all out side is great. Nice set up for the fall. They have a nice little outdoor patio area for nice weather days. The indoor design & decor is nice. Kinda high-end feel, but not to fancy. I like it, really nice setup. Even their bathroom is nice. Had a sliding barn door, and very clean features. The place itself was very clean and tidy.

Staff from the moment we walked were friendly and attentive. Through out our whole time there the staff would periodically check in on us and see how the food was and if we needed everything. (Not in a overcrowding of a way of checking in).

Now for the food. Overall I was pleased with the food, but stayed on the safer side and order stuff I figured I’d like vs being a little adventurous. (That’s may be the next visit.) So for appetizers, we ordered the Gnocchi Trio & the Pecorino Fries.
The Gnocchi Trio was ok. Did like it gave 3 dipping sauces. The Pecorino Fries I believe are fresh cut fries(from the looks of them) & were cooked well. Good flavor on them. We also ordered the added cheese sauce side.(recommend)
For our main dishes, my nephew got the Roasted Garlic Raviolis. He seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the Crab Linguine. Great flavor and like you can see some crab in the dish. (Definitely good for a first visit.)
Now, for dessert, we ended up deciding on the Apple Crumb Skillet. It was very good and perfect for 2 people to split.(Especially when being pretty full.)

In closing, its a great little spot. Definitely will have to come back. Me and my nephew were talking about trying their Pumpkin Pie pizza, so have to come back for that. (Gotta be adventurous and try new things.)
Also, want to try some of their other menu items, so there will be a few updates to this post in the future.

Finally got a chance to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. It’s festive and decorated for Christmas.
Staff were all friendly. Food arrived quickly. It’s a small place but we got seated right away and beat the rush in. People were waiting for a table when we left. We got wings and the meatballs for apps. They were so good I forgot to take a pic. We got the drunken cousin pizza, Italian wedding soup, and chicken parm which was a big portion. They were all good. We definitely would be back

My husband and I recently tried this new restaurant, and it exceeded every expectation. I ordered the Jersey Devil pizza, and it was absolutely delicious—honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It was also much larger than expected, which was a great surprise. My husband had the spicy rig, and it was just as impressive—the perfect portion and incredibly flavorful. We also shared a Caesar salad, which was phenomenal. Every bite was fresh and perfectly prepared.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, and every staff member we encountered was extremely polite and welcoming. It truly made the entire experience even better.
I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Nestled in the center of Williamstown,NJ across from a local brewery Ash & Oak has taken over an existing small business and knocked it out of the park. Amazing atmosphere and the staple wood fired oven catch your eye as soon as you walk in. Indoor or outdoor seating with succulent dishes. A must stop in southern NJor on your way to the Jersey shore!

I have gotten the chance to eat here twice and both times were amazing. First time with my wife for a small dinner between the two of us – Food was delicious, service was excellent and everyone was very friendly.

The second time we hosted an event for 20+ people and the experience was even better. We had a small tent across the street from the restaurant and just like last time – Every bit of food was delicious, we had a main server helping us with anything and everything, and overall the entire night was just awesome. And on top of it all, the ambience and atmosphere feels so warm and cozy even in mid-January.

Whether you are looking to have a small sit-down with family/friends or are looking to host a larger event with a group, Ash & Oak will hit it out of the park with amazing food, excellent and friendly service, all wrapped up in a family-friendly environment that is consistent each time you go. Thank you again for everything!

Really great spot in Williamstown. Aside from the food being great and fresh, the service is top notch.

I think what really separates Ash and Oak is the “love of the game.” This doesn’t feel like a way to get rich quick or make a buck selling overpriced pasta. It’s a craft and it shows in the product.

I see the owner almost every morning working out at the gym. That has nothing to do with food but everything to do with discipline. I believe that work ethic and discipline shows up in the food.

I’m happy to support local every time I go. And I look forward to going again with my kids as I was genuinely surprised how kid friendly and accessible the atmosphere was as well as the menu.

I and seven friends from church had dinner here tonight. We had a great time! Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server, Shannon, was so sweet and attentive. We ordered a lot of food and enjoyed every morsel! Our bread service and water carafes were replenished without us asking. All of our menu selections were prepared just as requested. There was not a single complaint or let down about anything. Highlights include the Crab Bisque, Fig & Ricotta Dip, and Pecorino Fries. This is a gem of a restaurant and deserves the community’s support. Keep up the great work. I’ll try the pasta next time!
God bless the Ash & Oak family,
and you, the reader.
