Love this spot. Ordered the butter chicken pizza and a Caesar salad—both were so good. Great brick oven flavor, chill patio with an awesome vibe, and it’s dog friendly. Pool table, darts, a fun bar with really great staff. Perfect downtown hangout.

They weren’t very inviting, their version of a chicken pizza is mediocre at best, and the soda comes in a 12oz can. My wife and I tried the restaurant based on the brick oven feature and it turned out to be the worst brick oven pie we’ve experienced thus far.

Pickup order was the most delicious take out I’ve had in a while. So lucky to have them in the neighborhood. We ordered, the Suprano bread, so good, spicy and crispy bread with the right amount of cheese was so flavorful and the chicken butter pizza which is at a new level. The oatmeal cookie cream pie is good way to end dinner. Best and keep it up!

Let me tell you, I was a flight attendant for over 20 years and have eaten pizza all across the US; Hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten! The butter chicken, veggie, and good ole cheese are my favs! The crust has that delicate balance of chewy-crispy, and the sauce is soo flavorful without being salty, even the cheese and other ingredients are fresh and organic. The indoor seating area nothing to brag about, but the outdoor seating is a beautiful, rustic and made atmosphere enjoyable! Try it, love it, and you’ll go back!

This place doesn’t miss! We’ve tried every pizza offered and they all are 5 star. Keep an eye on their socials as they offer brunch options on weekends! Pictured is a turkey Munster pesto egg on home made English muffin. Needless to say it is delicioussss! I grabbed a fantastic Bloody Mary at Monroe’s next door while waiting on my order.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would—it’s that good! First off, any place that sells pizza by the slice is great in my book. Other than that, the pizza is so delicious. The dough is incredible. The garlic bread is cheesy in all the right places. The vibes were there, and the bartender and other employees were so kind and welcoming. Great place to eat!!!

I’m going to be honest: if you’re the kind of person who regularly orders chicken strips and burgers, this probably isn’t the place for you. And that’s not a knock—it’s just not trying to be that. Ash and Oak Pizza is doing what so many restaurants in this area fail to do: they stand out. They aren’t serving the same tired standbys, and that alone deserves credit.

The staff is clearly stretched thin, and they’re upfront about it. There are signs posted letting you know this will take time. This is not fast food, and they make that clear—from the vibe they set to the table games meant to help you settle in. They understand their limitations when it comes to speed, and they set expectations accordingly. What I’m here to tell you is this: it’s worth the wait.

We waited over an hour and a half, but we also showed up on a Friday at 6:00—prime time when everyone is getting off work and heading out. We knew exactly what we were getting into, and it paid off. The pizza absolutely hits the spot.

Here’s what we ordered:

The Mushroom Pizza
So garlicky, so rich, and so satisfying it almost makes you want to growl. If you like a pizza that punches you in the face with bold Italian flavor and keeps delivering all the way to the crust, this is your pizza.

The Red, White, and Green
We ended up calling this the arugula pizza. It came out fresh and earthy, with a woodsy bite from the arugula that leaned almost pesto-like. It finished with that unmistakable Italian bread flavor and just kept giving.

The Butter Chicken Pizza
This was the reason we came. At first, the hype might seem like a lot—until you get a few bites in. You have to commit to the crust and reset your mindset. This is naan and butter chicken in one perfectly executed bite. That’s when it clicks. It scratches that Indian food craving while delivering it in a surprisingly portable, pizza-forward way. They really nailed it.

Across the board, the cheese was chef’s kiss—absolutely on point. The crust delivered on every single pie. There were three of us, and it ended in a three-way tie.

I will absolutely be back. And if your main concern is the speed of service, then this may not be for you—but that also means you might not understand what it takes to prepare food meant to be enjoyed, not rushed. This is food that takes time and deserves to be savored.

Best first taste of the mushrooms pizza, ever. Every one is great that works here. Yiu do have go get your food and drink. Music was spot on, very laid back. Can’t wait to try the all meat pizza when we get home!

Incredible thin-crust artisan pizzas are made here. I had the spicy pepperoni- exceptional. The high-quality tomato sauce, perfectly baked pepperoni, and savory peanut chili crisp (complete with whole peanuts) created a balanced, layered flavor. Add in the mildly acidic pickled jalapeños—and what I’m pretty sure was a drizzle of honey—and it all came together beautifully atop a perfectly cooked, wood-fired thin crust. Crunchy, savory, spicy, sweet, rich. The staff was enthusiastic and clearly passionate about their craft, happy to chat about the shop. I can’t recommend this place enough.
