One of the most disappointing places I’ve ever been. I absolutely love Afghani food, so I was excited to try this restaurant. I’ll start by saying the ambiance looked nice at first, but please do not come here in the winter. It is freezing cold since the seating is outdoors, and there were no heaters or fire pits. We were honestly shivering the whole time.
The menu is shown on a TV screen that is barely visible, and we had to Google the menu just to read it. When we asked, the staff casually said they don’t have paper menus and the TV “has problems.” Not exactly helpful.
The food was another letdown. The portions were shockingly small and completely overpriced — $22 for a combo that felt tiny and almost pretentious in portion size. The kabab itself was mediocre at best. And for vegetarian options? A cheese quesadilla. That’s it. Definitely don’t come here if you’re vegetarian.
For such little food, with this level of quality, and in a location that’s basically in the middle of nowhere, the prices made it feel like we were eating in the Bay Area with plastic utensils. Overall, a very sad and disappointing experience. I wanted to love this place, but I definitely won’t be coming back.

I just went there one time and had chicken and lamb order. The ambience is nice but the portion size for the price is too less. I love kebabs but it wasn’t wow! The location is pretty good along with the vibe they have created but if they work on their menu and competitive pricing it will work. Else people will just go once to try and never again!

This is not only one of the best Kebabs I’ve had in Tracy, but also one of the best in California. I tried three flavors: beef, lamb, and chicken. The beef and lamb were slightly better. The rice was very special, with two different colors and a great texture. The complimentary bread – a type of Middle Eastern bread, though I’m not sure of its exact name, but it was delicious. It also came with some salad, making it a very complete lunch. The flavors were not too salty, though I personally might have added a bit more salt. The meat was incredibly fresh, and you can watch the whole grilling process. They have an outdoor dining area, and the menu is simple, which helps you avoid decision fatigue. I was surprised to find such good Kebab in a remote city like Tracy. I highly recommend everyone try it, especially since Tracy is somewhat of a food desert. It’s very authentic!

Good food and friendly service. Chicken had a great flavor. Was moist. A little bit on the pricier side. Paid additional to include rice otherwise it comes with the two little pieces of the bread. Food in the picture was a little over $20.

We ordered beef kebabs and chicken kebabs with rice, first of all we got our order separately and chicken kebabs should be with rice and we got it without rice, when we served our lunch then he brought us some rice separately and I asked him, hey we should get everything together, he said we didn’t have rice whenever your order was ready.
I returned the rice because we didn’t want to serve just the rice.
I haven’t had a bad experience with Afghans restaurants before.
I hope the owner of this restaurant can hire someone to know how to run a restaurant.

The meat is normally very good and tender, but they didn’t include the rice, the bread was like a rock. I asked for a refund and they didn’t . Terrible 3rd world service.

Our experience at Arya Grill was disappointing. It was extremely cold because it was outdoor restaurant, so we kindly requested the staff to bring a heater and lower the curtains to make it more comfortable for the kids we had with us. Unfortunately, the server responded rudely, claiming that we were making these requests because we were Afghans and “all of us are like that.” The comment was uncalled for and offensive. The server’s attitude, along with her unfriendly demeanor, made us very uncomfortable. We were a group of 7 people, but after such treatment, none of us ordered anything. We decided to leave instead. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Hello All, it was my first time giving Aria Grill a try, and they did not disappoint. I had the lamb, served with rice. It was tender and cooked to perfection.
They have a nice outdoor area, including fire pits with seating around it. Give them a try! Their hours are Thursday through Sunday, 12-8 PM.
