I rate this place 5 star only for my experience recently. Although I have seen some low ratings but mine ended up well.
Lunch buffet is a better option I feel as you get to taste a large spread. The price for a lunch buffet also makes it a good deal given the distance and the location.
The ambience is very good but I felt there are a little too many tables and can get a bit cramped when full. The food taste offsets the space aspect.

I did not have high expectations going into this place. Thought it would be like 50 other Indian places in NJ. And Boy was I wrong.
Ordered Masala crab, pepper chicken, Chicken Biryani, Ceylon parotta and Malabar parotta.
The Masala Crab, man o man, the yummiest crab curry I have tasted. It comes with a lot of gravy. It’s expensive but it’s worth every penny. The gravy is so flavorful with a distinct crab kick. The crab meat is well cooked and delicious. I could give 5 stars only for this dish.
The pepper chicken is a cherry to a wonderful sundae on top of a regular sundae called the Masala crab.
Sadly, the Biryani lacks flavour and Malabar parotta lacks the distinct flakiness, Both of them are a let down to an otherwise spotless dinner.
The ambience is traditional South Indian, which is rare and the service is good. Overall, a must visit.

The place is well maintained a spacious restaurant can get crowded during lunch hours.Went there for both dinner and lunch buffet food was okay they have plenty of varieties for both veg and non vegetarian for a good price but food was bit cold.Dinner was severed hot and delicious.
Recently visited this place again what do I say my go to place for North Indian food craving.I recommend their individual food from menu than the buffet. They have introduced a new peshwari naan recommend it.I like their butter chicken. With the covid going on they have all the safety precautions. Please make sure to tell them the spice and salt levels.Once the malai kofta I ordered came out to be very salty so make sure you inform them beforehand. This place is a must try.

We went to Arusuvai Indian restaurant from Philadelphia to explore their kitchen. The neighborhood was beautiful, people were sitting outside and enjoying their food outdoor. We liked it. Probably due to the pandemic there were fewer number of servers and a birthday party or something was going on. So, the guy on the front desk was doing all the work! He greeted us, helped to get us sitting and took our orders. I would say food was okay and didn’t take long to serve. Biriany and Dosa was great. Chicken noodle was not as good as rest of the dish. However, our overall experience was great .

Traveled from Jersey City to this restaurant with high hopes of good south indian Veg thali on a plantain leaf.
The ambience was not great and if you go in a group you cannot even see each other as you’ll be sitting in one straight line. Food was average and many of the food items were cold. Totally not satisfied!!
Price of 25$ for the veg thali is way too high for the average quality. A2B is far superior!

Good Indian food. Loved the flavors. We ordered the fish fry which was excellent. Ordered parota and mutton curry which was good. Also ordered the chicken egg kottu parota and the Hyderabadi dum biryani. Everything tasted good. Service was decent didn’t have to wait too long. Recommend this place for good Tamil Nadu style food.

Arusuvai has the best Indian lunch buffet in NJ. Their spread is elaborate consists of both North Indian and South Indian items. The vegetarian spread is also quite extensive which I really appreciate. If you love Indian food, don’t miss out their buffet. Only one suggestion I would give the Management is to change their serving ladles and spoons, they are lined with plastic and placed over hot dishes, some people would be uncomfortable to use them. But nevertheless their food is awesome and they had a special Thanksgiving buffet and I ate Thirunelveli halwa and spicy Vathakolambu after a really long time.
