I love Art’s kitchen.Foosd was very good.My favorite was the lechon kawali which is really crispy, sisig is delicious too, the spice from sisig is just right and FYI, they use the sisig to also make sisig quesadilla that you MUST TRY OUT!DELICOUSO! The chicken inasal, liempo and chicken teriyaki is very tasty. And if you still have room desserts halo-halo and buko pandan is the best! All the staff from Art’a Kitchen are very kind and friendly! I live all the way in LA but keeps on coming back at this restaurant. Also, if you have a party they also can cater your needs, you can order big trays and price is reasonable.I am ordering food at Art’s kitchen for my daughter’s debut.

Why did I wait so long to try this place? I guess because I thought it was another Filipino place I tried a while back, that was good but not great, but just realized it was further west on Huntington. Anyway, stopped for lunch and they have your typical buffet table with Filipino favorites to choose from as a combo or a la carte. I tried a 3 item combo with lechon (crispy pork belly), beef Kare Kare and a chicken dish which I’m not sure what it was other than delicious. They give you a choice of rice only or half rice and half noodles (i think it’s called pancit) It also comes with free soup. All the dishes were delicious and somewhat elevated compared to your stand bys like DJ Bibingkahan or Pinoy Pinay. Even the rice was cooked well. Hard to explain the difference other than the quality of ingredients and care, probably cooked in smaller batches which makes a world of difference. There are a few other sit down restaurants that serve Filipino food but not “fast and ready” like it was here and certainly not at these prices. My whole meal was about $12 and was enough for lunch and dinner. Definitely coming back.

My only gripe was they didn’t have goat (my fave) or the traditional sour and savory tamarind soup (also a fave). The corn soup was great, but just had my taste buds set on the tamarind.

They change soups daily, so will have to come back often to try their version.

Finally my pro tip. If you want lumpia (small egg rolls), call ahead. They said it would be around 20 mins for those, so will have to call ahead for that next time as well.

The only Filipino game in this area and it’s goooood . During covid there is no dine in. You order cafeteria style. You can do combo plates or al-a-cart. The combo says to choose rice or pan it, but you can actually ask them to split it.

Don’t forget to try the halo halo , lechon , and the pata

It’s whatever payed like 41$ for two two item combos and two drinks.
They don’t make it clear on the price and question even if I eat this type of food. It’s whatever’s didn’t even get napkins.

Pork belly in Hawthorne is fire tho low key

Lechon Kawali here is legit. Super crispy. Deliciously marbled meat with just the right amount of fattiness. With a scoop of rice, half pound was only 12 bucks.

I LOVE Art’s Kitchen! Everyone there was so kind and friendly. The food is AMAZING and makes me miss home. I’m excited that we found an authentic Filipino restaurant in our area. My daughter and I got take out and they gave her an Ube ice cream on the house! I can’t recommend them enough and I can’t wait to go back again!

This is a great place to get Filipino food. Their food is very good high-quality, but you do not have a place to eat except for a narrow table against the front windows. It’s better to just buy take out.

I asked my Filipino friend where to get good Filipino food. He suggested Art’s Kitchen in Duarte. Therefore when I went to Irwindale, I decided to stop by at Art’s Kitchen which is within a mile from Irwindale. I got fried whole fish with bones and head everything in it that I had long time ago at a Korean restaurant. They gave me some vinegar sauce and banana ketchup. That vinegar sauce was so good that it made the fish tasted better. Fish was good by itself. They have ready to go food like in Panda Express. Rice with 2 items is $10.50.

Food is good. Fast service. Clean. Limited seating. Kind of pricey (about 30.00 for 2 medium size a la carte items and 3 scoops of rice).
