The Artisan’s Palate is a restaurant, art gallery and gathering space in NoDa offering a unique menu of craft cocktails, wine and share plates in a neighborly, relaxed atmosphere with a focus on art and those who create it. Our space features a gallery where local artists are featured monthly. Guests are introduced to immersive experiences that converge all five senses through food, beverage, art, music and more based on each collection. The Artisan’s Palate is an inclusive destination for our customers – from local coffee during the day, to rustic-yet-refined plates and curated cocktails at night, to savory and sweet brunch on Sunday.

The Artisan’s Palate created an incredible experience for our team. If you are looking for a truly unique restaurant experience in Charlotte for a team dinner, celebration, or special event, look no further.
We were looking for a special way to celebrate and thank our employees with great food and vibes, and the evening exceeded every expectation.
We chose to do the Chef’s Table experience for our group of 15, and it was absolutely perfect. They coordinated live music for the evening and curated the entire menu for us. It felt almost like an omakase style experience where we could simply relax and enjoy the night with our team.
Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Chef Christa personally came out to introduce each course and share the story behind it, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and special.
The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else in Charlotte, with intimate lighting, local art featured throughout the gallery, and a beautiful back garden where we spent time together after dinner.

We came on Sunday for brunch and loved the variety of options. I had the Nashville hot fish and grits. It was savory, and the fish was tender and juicy. The vibe was lovely and relaxed, perfect for a laid-back brunch.

The staff was amazing! A women owned business, they did a fantastic job of taking care of all our needs quickly and courteously. They have a really nice art gallery with a cute outdoor seating area. Drinks were delicious and every food item we tried was so good! Highly recommend the meatballs and the scallops. Definite 5 stars and can’t wait to come again!

I live in Italy so my bar is set pretty high, and I have to say that I really, really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant, as did everyone else in my party. We sat in the gallery, which was a unique experience. Our server, Sophie, was helpful and attentive. The food was just delicious! We shared everything from bacon dates, skillet spoonbread (cornbread), fried brussel sprouts, octopus, mussels – and ended with an incredible take on bread pudding. I loved the artsy vibe, the women-powered kitchen, the committment to locally-sourced ingredients, and the high quality of the food and service. I should also note that we weren’t in a rush and we ejoyed the time we spent lingering over this meal…but if you are in a hurry, this isn’t the right place for you. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for. If I am ever in Charlotte again, I will definitely return!

My friends and I went here for my friend’s birthday dinner and we really enjoyed it! They gave us a free dessert which was cool considering a lot of places don’t do that anymore. The portions were small as per most restaurants of this manner, however, everything was very delicious. Our server Sophie was very kind and answered all our menu questions. Overall, we would definitely eat here again!

The food was amazing!! We started with the Warm Marinated Olives and the Bacon Wrapped Dates. They were so yummy. Finished both plates clean. We had the shrimp artichoke salad. Very fresh. Probably the best shrimp I’ve had. For our main plates we had the empanadas, meatballs and scallops. Every plate was left clean. Very delicious. Love that it is a women owned business! Owner was so nice and passionate about her restaurant. Love how she uses locally sourced Ingredients! Also has a little art gallery and adorable secret garden in the back that has a great atmosphere.Overall amazing experience.
