This place is a whole vibe.

I started with the My Egg, My Choice deviled egg dish, and honestly… creamy perfection. It’s a smooth, sorta like egg salad style well-seasoned egg salad topped with paprika and served with warm, fried naan-style bread (or toasted bread).

For my main, I had the Sassy Salmon delicious and well-cooked. It leaned a little sweeter than my personal taste, but the experience immediately turned next-level when the Lonnie the owner brought out extra spicy chili pepper sauce. That heat elevated the salmon and completely balanced the flavors.

The Brussels sprouts were charred to perfection, full of flavor, and the potatoes were so good I didn’t leave a bite behind.

Beyond the food, the experience really shines. The customer service is beyond top-notch attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The staff has this cool, artsy, slightly hippie vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. You can feel that people enjoy working there.

They switch the menu about three times a year, all of their wine is made in-house (yes in the basement), and they truly support local. It’s a small café with an artsy soul.

Great food. Incredible service. Creative energy.
This is a spot you come back to and recommend without hesitation. Thoughtful, intuitive service like that matters. (Please excuse my main plate I started eating then realized I forgot to take a photo)

I took my mom and sister here for Saturday brunch before checking out some local museums. Server was very nice and the chef came over after our meal to listen to what we thought about the food. Staff was very enthusiastic about the food and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. We are crepes, the ricotta toast and the croissant breakfast sandwich. Prices were fair and portions were good. We really enjoyed ourselves. The peach mimosa was also delicious, but deceptively strong! I would recommend this place to friends and would like to return if I’m in the area again!

First time here with my friends and we loved it. There was a live guitarist playing beautifully and food was out of this world. On the more expensive side ($25/meal), but the quality and portions makes it worth it. Great vegetarian options with the spaghetti squash and eggplant parm. Our waitress was friendly and we highly recommend this place.

We came here on a Sunday for brunch – I was so happy they could fit us in without a reservation (highly recommend for future visits). The waitress was so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed the house mimosas to start and then ordered our main meals. My sister enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and I had the cluckin dict (spicy eggs benedict). Portions were large, and everything was very flavorful. The meals came out quickly and were cooked fresh to order. Prices were very reasonable – overall, a great local place!

Truly a gem – come for the amazing food, stay for the atmosphere. Our server was wonderful and the owner took the time to chat with us and let us know about their menu. The food though! The schnitzel was better than any I’ve had in Germany. I am thoroughly impressed. We will definitely be returning for brunch in the near future!

Wonderful experience! We came in for brunch with some out-of-state friends and felt welcomed like family from the moment we arrived. Everyone was so friendly, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was fun with live music playing. Highly recommend!

A must try! My friends and I were in town and stumbled upon this unique, quaint restaurant. With only 10 tables, an open kitchen and incredible wait staff, we were beyond pleased! The owner even sat with us for a bit during dinner and shared more about the restaurant! All of that plus INCREDIBLE food for an even better price! A reservation is recommended but we didn’t know that and got a table! The rosemary Parmesan fries and the muscle pasta are both a must!

Artisan Urban Bistro: A 5-star revelation of flavor, especially the Beef Roast Skillet
Artisan Urban Bistro is truly a culinary gem in Saginaw, offering a dining experience that’s both intimately cozy and remarkably sophisticated. It’s a place where you’re not just eating, you’re savoring the artistry that goes into each dish.
While the entire menu impresses with its fresh, seasonal ingredients and European flair, the Beef Roast Skillet is an absolute standout. The beef is cooked to perfection – incredibly tender and flavorful, practically melting in your mouth. But it’s the rich, aromatic sauce that truly elevates this dish to legendary status
