We just walked in, which isn’t ideal since she only prepares a limited number of doughs each day — everything is made fresh and with intention — but she was the sweetest lady and welcomed us so graciously. You can immediately tell this isn’t “just a business” to her. She truly loves what she does, and it shows in every detail.
She takes so much PRIDE in her craft — from the quality of the ingredients to how perfectly cooked the pizza comes out of the oven. The crust was incredible: fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. Every topping tasted intentional and high quality. Nothing felt rushed or careless. It was artisan pizza in the truest sense of the word.
What made it even more special was hearing a little about her story — how her mom sparked her love for making pizza and how that passion grew into what she has today. You can feel the heart behind it. It’s rare to meet someone who pours that much of themselves into their work.
She was absolutely amazing, and the entire experience felt personal and memorable. If we’re ever back in the area, we WILL be ordering again — this time online so we can make sure to reserve one of those delicious doughs ahead of time!
Highly, highly recommend.
Very unprofessional to send something that burnt out the door without checking the bottom.
I came back to edit my review because I still don’t understand how something that burnt goes unnoticed?
Okay the service was nice.
They claimed they didn’t have the thick crust because of something about oven temperature?
Tipped $2 and won’t do that again.
Overpriced Paid $46 for 2 14″ pizzas one $3 per topping pepperoni and bacon and $20 one cheese.
The pep/bacon came out good. I think they forgot about the cheese pizza because its burnt. It was supposed to be for my daughter and she wouldn’t eat it because the black char burnt bottom. (Pictures for reference)
$20 wasted
Not much sauce, crust tasted good.
The place doesn’t seem like they can handle many orders at a time because it’s small inside only two people working.
My pizzas were the only order at the time.
The person making the pizza seemed to have to have constant help from the lady that said she’s from Italy.
I would consider the place as a Cafe Italian pizza boutique.
The ingredients are quality.
It would have been better to focus on the process of making my pizzas. That’s what I came there for.
Mistakes happen. I wanted to come back and try the meatball topping but unsure if I want to take a chance on another heavily charred pizza.
Very Limited selection on baked goods with $7 tiramisu
I do enjoy trying different pizza places and give my honest reviews.
Kinda a hit and then a miss with the experience I had.
Every single item was fresh and tasty, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality ingredients. While it might not fit the conventional “pizza” mold, it succeeds brilliantly on its own terms. The availability of fresh dessert options was an unexpected bonus that perfectly capped off the meal. If you come here, come with an open mind and prepare to be impressed by what they offer!
The pepperoni got the perfect char doing the cook.
My personal pallet would just want more salt in the crust.
This is a new restaurant so please expect a wait.
The first day I came in, they were closing early due to being sold out of ingredients. The owner asked me to please come back the next day which I did. The following day I ordered just a pepperoni pizza. I was excided because she had BEEF PEPPERONI’S!!!! For folks who don’t eat pork, you will LOVE this option. After about a 20 min or so wait, during that time a had a wonderful conversation with a customer, who it was also their first time ordering at Artisan Pizza cafe. The pizza was amazing! The crust was nearly a perfect consistency and toasted. You can taste the flavor of the sauce, cheese and the wonderful tasting pepperoni’s. While it is close to New York style pizza, the overall taste and texture, at age 53, brought me back to my childhood pizza favorites. It reminded me of fresh Donato’s of the 70’s and early 80’s with a better crust. I think this pizza is best enjoyed after letting it rest for about 10 minutes, but that is just me.
