This is the first non-chain restaurant I have tried in the U.S. that serves REAL, AUTHENTIC Italian food!!! It was good enough that I could take my Italian coworker and he didn’t cuss me out under his breath. We had the tagliatelle with bolognese sauce and it was as good as I have had in Italy. Mauro was a great host and it was an enjoyable experience

What a gem this place was. I stopped by midday to try it out and found that I enjoyed it a lot.

I got the Carbonara, and I could taste the freshness of it. I’m not Italian, but it felt authentic to me. The ingredients were simple, but high quality.

It is a bit more of a date spot from what I can tell, but it was a great time going alone as well!

Easily the best spot in Austin for homemade traditional Italian pasta!

I introduced this place to coworkers and now its one of their favorite places for us to grab lunch.

The menu is big but not overwhelming. They have a wide verity of different pasta and sauces. My favorites in include the spinach ravioli with a reduced balsamic drizzle, their comforting sausage and mushroom macaroni, and their massive serving of lasagna.

If you are looking for Alfredo sauce don’t come here but if you want great, perfectly chewy, pasta, this is the place.

I can’t say enough good things about ARTIPASTA at Highland! The food and desserts are absolutely fantastic. Every bite tastes like it was made with the freshest ingredients, full of flavor and care. Jill and Mickey made the experience even better with their warm and attentive service. What really sets ARTIPASTA apart from other Italian spots in town is how authentic and fresh everything feels. It is like being welcomed into someone’s home for a meal made with love. This place has officially earned a spot on my family’s must-go list.

I FINALLY FOUND IT! A restaurant in Austin that makes me feel like I never left Italy. True to its name this place makes pasta into art. I have absolutely loved my Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola, if you like the frozen Trader Joe’s version you should come out here and try the real thing!

Se sei italiano e ti manca casa, fidati di me e vai a trovare Mauro qui da Artipasta!

I am unfortunately a picky-eater, so pasta is something I tend to cling to when deciding what to eat. Gratefully, the menu choices and affordability really contributed to my 5-star rating! I was able to have multiple options to choose from and truly enjoyed my choice. The staff were also funny/kind and I could tell they care for the food they put out.
The restaurant is small but was great nonetheless. The only recommendation I have is to lower the music slightly so conversations can be heard. Other than that, I can’t wait to come back with my family!

Wanted to try something new and looked up this place. You order from the counter and they bring the food to you. They serve “authentic” Italian food so no chicken Alfredo (we were told it was like Tex-Mex and wasn’t true Italian food). Everything was fresh and tasty – the portion size was a little small for my taste. A good experience overall.

I was skeptical at first about trying this place since the menu didn’t include much of the Italian dishes I cook at home. But the kids and I decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad we did! Everything was amazing.

I ordered the gnocchi in parmesan sauce, which was rich and flavorful. My son had the spaghetti with sausage and loved it, and my daughter ordered the lasagna. She did hurt my feelings a little when she said it was better than mine—very authentic! She couldn’t keep her fork out of my gnocchi either.

The portions were much bigger than we expected, and every bite was worth it. It’s definitely a hidden gem we’ll be coming back to!

From the picture it looks very promising but If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. Arti Pasta was such an unbelievable disappointment that I’m still wondering how this place is even open. The pasta had the worst texture I’ve ever experienced—hard, crunchy, and dried out, and somehow tasting like it was reheated from a batch made days ago. The portions were laughably tiny for the price, and every single dish at our table was a complete miss; not one person liked their food, and we kept passing plates back and forth just to confirm that everything really was that terrible. The sauces were bland, watery, and tasted cheaper than something out of a discount jar, and the whole meal felt lazy, careless, and thrown together with zero pride. It was so bad that we actually left and went to the Korean corn dog place down the road just to salvage our night—and those corn dogs were ten times better than anything served at Arti Pasta. Honestly, I would genuinely love for the owner to explain how this meal ever made it out of the kitchen, because this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had ever.
