We always need to stop by artichokes when in Berkeley. I’ve tried their classic artichoke spinach pizza which is creamy, pepperoni/sausage, and my FAVORITE is the vodka deep dish.

Had a pretty poor experience when I stopped by for a slice and a drink. Artichoke pizza had non-chewable pieces. Drink was served with a little too sweet with no punch. But a great spot for karaoke.

Went for karaoke on a Friday night, pizza was amazing, by the slice and HUGE. Service moved quickly even with the crowd and the karaoke patrons were fun, lively, and talented. If you want a fun and delicious night out I highly recommend it!

Lived the first 18 years of my life in Boston, then moved to New York for 10 years. Moved out to the Bay Area two years ago, and for the most part, the pizza is tastes like s%. Artichoke is the only spot I’ve found that competes with parlors on the East coast, highly recommended to any fellow east coasters looking for a pizza-by-the-slice or just pizza in general that will remind you of home. 5-stars for sure given it’s the Bay Area. 4-stars if it was located in Brooklyn or the North End.

I went there with a friend a little after midnight, believing that it was supposed to stay open until 1. There were people inside but the door was locked and we were told they were closed, though clearly their staff was just having their own party in there!

Came here 5 minutes after opening and the place wasn’t ready at all.Waited 30 mins and it still wasn’t ready.. just wanted a slice to go. None of the workers seemed to care that we were patiently waiting. Next time, change your hours if the place isn’t ready at the time it is suppose to be open. wasted our time when we could have gone somewhere else. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION

Nice flavor and humongous size of the pie. They sell by the slice. The whole pizza is 8 slices. So you eat 1 slice or get the whole pizza is the same cost per slice.
