Established in 1986 in one of the original front street buildings owned by the Kansas Pacific Railroad- Arthur’s uses fresh Kansas Beef in their Mexican Entrees and makes 4 Kinds of dough from scratch each morning. Called at 4 pm. Was told they don’t start delivering til 530 pm. That’s fine. I said id call back. Lady on the phone said she could take my order then and be first in line come 530. Ok cool. I didn’t realize they were going to cook my tacos and let them sit there for an hr and a half. That’s the ONLY explanation for soaking wet, ice COLD, tacos. And the “desert pizza” was smashed to hell. And $3 for a spoonful of rice? I’m sorry, but truckers at loves should order elsewhere. This place messed up TACOS

Driving through Kansas on our way from Colorado to Virginia. Stopped by for lunch. We’re glad we did.
We were the first ones in for lunch that day. Employees couldn’t have been friendlier. We were in the mood for mexican food, but our server pointed out the “all you can eat pizza and salad bar”. We decided pizza sounded good.
The pizza was excellent. We love pizza, and are pretty picky. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Loved the crust! A great selection also.
All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The food was great. We’ll be back next time we drive through Kansas!

There is a reason this has a nomination for one of the best places to eat in Kansas. Wonderful salad and we had the Chicago deep dish pizza. It was delicious! Highly recommend stopping here to eat!

It was very close to the Ellis Railroad museum which was our destination that day. We decided to give this little pizza place a try. It did not disappoint. We have the deep dish pepper and the cheese sticks. They were both delicious and they had excellent ranch! They were also pretty busy. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a great place located in downtown Ellis. The pizza was excellent, especially the cinnamon dessert pizza. We just got takeout, so I wasn’t able to get a great look at the interior, but from what I could see it looked to be fairly clean. Overall this is a great little place right in the heart of Ellis.
