Out of towners from Philly area looking for an authentic hoagie. We ordered a Corned Beef Hoagie and quite honestly was very impressed. They have a great assortment of Italian food. The price wasn’t that bad. We enjoyed the food. Hats Off. Watch out (Dolce and Clemente), you now have competition. I rarely give five stars.

I ordered the Chicken Parm with gnocchi on the side, and it was excellent! The portion size was generous, the chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy and not overdone—and the gnocchi was delicious. My wife had pasta with grilled chicken, which was also cooked very nicely. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Ordered a sandwich to go. Got the 6 inch and was overwhelmed with the amount of meat. I am a Philly hoagie guy and this rocked. Tasty and loaded with meat. My new spot when working in this area!

I have eaten so many Italian sandwiches in my life, but this was BY FAR the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Not only that, but the two men behind the counter were some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet in customer service. We were honestly unsure of what or how to order our sandwiches and the man who took our order was so kind and guided us to absolutely amazing food! You can tell when you walk in that they know how to make amazing food. Their sandwiches are amazing, they have multiple types of delicious sounding pasta and soups in the fridge ready to buy, and their cannolis and cookies look divine. We live an hour and a half away, but visited friends in the area who recommended them. I would easily drive an hour and half to taste their food again. If you are nearby you need to eat here. I wish we lived closer <3. They also threw in two rainbow cookies (which neither of us had ever tried before) and they were so amazing I will be buying some the next time we come. I will also be trying their pastrami. If their Italian sandwich is this good I can only imagine how good their pastrami is. I hope they stay in business forever because I would love to be lifelong customer. We will be recommending to everyone we know. Thank you all for such an amazing meal!

First time stopping into this place ordered a cup of chili. It was more like a bowl. It was really good. They gave you bread with it which is a nice touch and I got an Italian hoagie. I got a 6 inch figured I had the chili so I didn’t need a bigger hoagie and you could cut the 6 inch hoagie into three and it would be in more than enough for a lunch . The place is really good.

We just came back from a two-year overseas deployment in Central Asia, where friends asked before we left: what’s the first thing you’re going to eat when you’re back in the USA? An Italian sub – “hoagie,” that is, since we were going back to PA. When we landed at Avoca Airport, we rented a car and went straight to Arthur Ave in Honesdale…but arrived just at closing time, and didn’t get our sandwiches! We wound up having Chinese takeout for our first meal back. Doh!
Fine, we went back the next morning, and THEN we got our proper Arthur Ave meal: an Italian hoagie and a caprese salad. Big portions, perfectly textured sandwich bread, excellent seasoning, friendly service. I got a small 6” hoagie, which came cut in two, and ate only one 3” portion, taking the other home for later (it was delicious later too!). The lunch rush got pretty busy as we sat there, so consider calling in your order. Highly recommended!

Delicious, satisfying deli sandwiches in all kinds of styles for fair prices. Great place to grab a quick bite, or also a full meal.
The hot pastrami sandwich could’ve done with more condiments overall, but the flavour and amount of meat was fantastic. The Godfather, however, is plain amazing and everything you’d want in a deli sandwich. Even the 6 inch sandwich is large enough to satisfy most hunger pangs.

The food here is simply out of this world. Each dish is a testament to traditional Italian cooking, bursting with flavors that transport you straight to Italy. My family got take out for dinner and we’re very impressed. The chicken was so fresh and pounded out so nice and thin. The chicken Caesar salad was tasty, I appreciate that the dressing was on the side so it wasn’t soggy when we got it home. Garlic broccoli pasta was super flavorful, both hot hoagies we got were great. The whole family was pleased. We will definitely come back for more!
