Social Profile:

Located in the heart of Hillcrest and voted best restaurant in San Diego many years in a row, Arrivederci saw it’s first day in 1998 thanks to the Mastellone Family. Our philosophy is to deliver simple food at a reasonable price with friendly service. The restaurant group now also manages Solunto, Sorrento and La Pizzeria Arrivederci. Authentic Italian restaurant, Arrivederci, has a casual ambiance, traditional Italian cuisine and an atmosphere that transports you directly to Tuscany, and the middle of Campania !!! Our Italian homemade cuisine is a perfectly inexpensive recipe, a little bit of tradition, an ounce of modern Italian cooking inspired by different regions, and a big cup of love from our chef and his team.

Cozy eatery, part of a local family of restaurants, dishes up thin-crust pies & Italian classics.

Our go to place for fabulous Italian food in a festive setting.

They have a regular menu and a menu of the day, which doesn’t change much from day to day. The fried calamari and zucchini appetizer portion was large and the frying was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The black linguine with bay shrimps in cream sauce was great. It’s slightly sweeter than expected, but that’s just the way I like it.

The waiter who helped us was energetic, friendly, and made the meal very pleasant.

Absolutely love this place! Very Italian style and the staffs were very friendly and they love their job. Each spaghetti was delicious and plenty, never expected we could added cheese as we wanted. Bread was soft and awesome, they would gave as much as we wanted. We had a great time here and don’t forget to try the Tiramisu, it was the right sweetness and texture!

We came in on Valentines day (saturday) and had a great time. The place was a little hectic because of the holiday and there was a line out the door so we had to wait a while even though we had a reservation. Once we were seated though the service was amazing! Our server Julio was very kind and attentive even though it was busy and all of our food was delicious and came out promptly. The lobster ravioli was very rich and creamy and the squid ink linguine was unique and cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back on a less busy night, there were so many good looking dishes on the menu and all the staff was great!

The deep fried calamari with zucchini is super (appetizer). My risotto is so salty. I am not use to salty food. However, my daughter’s mushroom raviola is also really good. We could not finish our main dish.

Came here for Valentines Day. First time here, had heard really good things. The service from Julio was top notch. The food and wine list is extensive, lots of good options. My wife and I both loved the apps and our man courses which came out quickly. Would highly recommend, this place knows what they’re doing!!

We used to come here 15 years ago when we lived up the street. We are in town again and stopped for dinner, mostly out of nostalgia. It is just as good as we remember! Amazing handmade ravioli and Bruchetta, delicious pizza. Excellent service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Good friends invited us here for an authentic Italian meal. The casual atmosphere was perfect for the occasion and our server, Julio, was friendly, attentive and answered all our questions about the menu. Nice wine list with good value Chianti options. I ordered the Linguine Mediterrano and my wife had the Ravioli de Giorno and both dishes were excellent. Parking can get tricky but we arrived at 6:15 pm and many spots were available. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was excited to go to a local Italian place! I got gluten free pasta.. my side was a loaf of gluten bread (I’m celiac) —they wouldn’t let me exchange it for anything else like, a salad.. bc they “forgot” I was celiac. I ended up just leaving and gave the bread to a homeless person after they tried to take it back….
