I first passed by the café as a tourist and noticed the long queue, so I decided to come back another day to try it. During my first visit, I ordered a takeaway pizza and waited to be called but it was quicker than my expectation! On my next visit, I know I have to do a dine in — the experience was even better and pizzas & sourdough just as delicious!
Highly recommend the Pancetta !
Don’t be fooled, the slices are bigger than you’d expect, and most of the time one slice per person is enough! I got carried away and ordered two. I didn’t regret it, but unfortunately there was no room left for dessert.
But the dessert looks great, too, and the variety is impressive.
Fair prices, super friendly service, and a really lovely atmosphere with plenty of seating.
We’ll definitely be back!
There’s lots of choice on the menu with a clear Sicilian feel alongside the pizzas. We started with ragu arancini and a pot of olives, then shared the Crudo and Salame pizzas (added extra olives), with a glass of Grillo and a Nero d’Avola.
Everything arrived quickly. The pizzas are the standout: proper sourdough bases with those charred bubbles around the edge, light, chewy and full of flavour in their own right, drawn from Aromi’s Sicilian baking roots. The ingredients tasted fresh and nicely balanced, keeping their texture and flavour rather than collapsing into each other. Really good pizza.
The wine was perfectly decent, and overall it felt like an easy, relaxed place to end the evening. Would happily go back.
Pancetta Pizza ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (P1)
A hot and fluffy thick-crust pizza topped with tomato sauce, sweet peppers, and cheese — tangy, sweet, and wonderfully fragrant.
Piccante Pizza ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (P2)
Similar texture as above, but with spicy sausage ️ on top — full of flavor!
☕️ Tiramisu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (P3)
Absolutely delicious! The coffee-soaked soft ladyfingers with rich, slightly rum-flavored cream are perfectly balanced and not heavy at all. Honestly, each person should order one!
1- Waiters get confused with the tables numbers (my suggestion is: put a fixed number per table like normals places, therefore, each guest will give your table number when they place their order).
2- They take longer for cleaning tables (but it’s not horrible thing because in peak hours is difficult keep everything clean )
The slice of pizza was really good! Other pastries looked good as well
