It was my first time visiting Arno’s Fine French Pastry, and I absolutely loved it! It truly feels like a hidden gem in Edmonton. I’m a big fan of Pavlova, so I couldn’t resist trying theirs — and it did not disappoint. The Pavlova was absolutely delicious: light, perfectly balanced, and served with fresh raspberries that added such a beautiful, bright touch.
We also took home a plain croissant, a pistachio croissant, and a cinnamon twist — every single item was fresh and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in their pastries. Thank you very much, Arno, for your wonderful work!

We visited as part of the Alberta Food Tour Cookie Tour. Arno was friendly and accommodating. It is a cute little shop. The lemon tart and croissant were delicious.

Arno’s is a cute and small French pastry by Jasper Ave. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and got a Hot Chocolate with oat milk, Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk, and a chocolate croissant. The drinks were so tasty. The Hot Chocolate was rich and creamy, and the iced latte was so smooth. I loved our drinks. Service was helpful and nice. There are a couple tables inside and I really liked the cozy atmosphere.
The drinks were great, but our chocolate croissant fell flat. It wasn’t flaky or crispy like I hoped. It didn’t really have much texture other than just bread with chocolate pieces in it. We came around 1 pm so most likely we didn’t get a fresh batch, but I was still left disappointed from our pastry.
From our experience, it was 3.5/5. But I’m willing to come back to try another chocolate croissant at the right time.

My favourite cafe in Edmonton. The owner is so sweet, the food and coffee are great. The chocolate croissant is my go-to but they have lots of amazing treats.

Just finished a lovely lunch at Arno’s. My tuna sandwich was creamy and delicious and contrasted well with the lightly toasted bread.
My husband enjoyed the smoked salmon bagel which was most satisfying!
Excellent service and food. We are so lucky to have a real French pastry shop and cafe in Edmonton! My family always orders our birthday cakes from here, my favourite is the decadent Gateau Royale (if you love chocolate and hazelnuts it’s a must try!)

One of the best cafes in Edmonton, especially when it comes to authentic French pastries and food! Coffee always good and croissants some of the best outside of Montreal. Nice outdoor seating in season. Great baguettes for take away too!

Highly recommend!! Ordered this beautiful fruit tart for my birthday over the phone with Arno and he was so friendly and had it ready for the following day with no problem. It was absolutely delicious, the best fruit tart I’ve ever had. The fruit was fresh, the cream was so fresh and tasty and the crust was soft yet crispy. We also tried their croissants and coffee at the cafe and everything was so so so good!! Can’t wait to come back.
