Went in on my lunch break service was very delayed. It took seven minutes for them to acknowledge my presence in the lobby. NOT GOOD!
Only one other customer was present.
However, once I received service, the young lady who helped me was very accommodating. She allowed me to taste the brisket, which was very tender and tasty. However, I opted for the rib tip dinner. The meats are served without the sauce, which I prefer. It allows you to analyze the flavors. Which are not overbearing, decent for any palate. I personally prefer a more soulful flavor, but it is worth a return visit. Although….
If I chose to return, it would be for the brisket. The sides were okay.

We have gotten this place a few times and everytime it has been amazing! The brisket quesadilla is sooo good with their bbq sauce and it’s honestly a big portion size for lunch! We also got the potatoes wedges and they were seasoned very well. While I was waiting for my food, I was offered a sample of the rib tips and they were very tender, definitely will have to get those next time! The staff is absolutely incredible and so sweet! Definitely give this place a try!!

Brisket and ribs are on another level! I’ve been coming here for about 8 years. Always ordered for my mom’s birthday dinners. Then Covid hit and the quality went down I was extremely disappointed. Fast forward to Wednesday of this week and omg it’s like my first time all over again! Idk how long they’ve been back to the old way I remember but they’re definitely back! I’m actually going back today also the cheesecake is amazing one of the best I’ve ever tasted

I am very upset cause I usually go here when I want good barBQue but the last two times has not been really good I should have known cause traffic isn’t heavy anymore wait time is 10/20 mins now . But back to the food I had to chew the brisket when it usually melt in your mouth my rib tips were all fat they filled my baked means half way in the spot it was in that only the tip of the spoon went in some of the beans were dry smashed open maybe it was the end of the pan idk but also the macaroni does not taste good either upon pick up on time it was very dry my rib tips had no car on the like they were boiled or not really cared for and cooked with love like usual and I’m very upset I paid $30 buck for that meal I didn’t even finish and I will be calling and taking the food back I should have known something when I saw the lady brought her food back in and he was giving her brisket to try she had to experience what I did the colors of the meat even were different from what I usually see from here I’m highly disappointed

Went on Sunday to pick up an order.
They were very organized even though it was extremely busy.
The ribs were good but there wasn’t much meat on them ( they were very fatty),
I wish both the potatoes and the collard greens weren’t so spicy hot. I think they should make them mild and let you ad your own hot sauce if that’s what you prefer.
All in all it was good and I will go back and try the mac and cheese and brisket.

And passing threw so Didn’t have much time
Didn’t know it gonna take 40 minutes for take out. i would’ve called ahead or tried some other place
Maybe they are super busy. i don’t know
Usually, it takes 15 or 20 or less because the smoke meat it all ready except for grill sandwich
But anyway, I ordered a couple of things
1st pork brisket sandwich chopped
It’s tasty, no problem
Chicken wings were good but a little dry
Beef brisket was ok a little dry
Collard greens good but a little sweets
Mac cheese was good
We also ordered the brisket loaded potatoes with cheese
It tasted good but didn’t like sweet bbq on it
If I knew, I’d ask sauce on the side
Next up is the brisket cheese sandwich
These is over cooked look like a brisket meatloaf
My opinion
Should just melt the cheese until running, then top off with beef brisket
Last jalapeño smoke sausage
It was to dry way over smoke
Maybe we got a bad batch
Everything was good except the cheese brisket sandwich cheese was overcooked. You’ll be the judge looked at pictures for yourself
Or maybe that how they cooked it here
Give this place a try if you’re in the area
Also, call ahead if you don’t have much time to wait or just pass through

Got the brisket grilled cheese on Texas toast. Absolutely delicious.
Service is very slow. Staff can be on the rude side. Order ahead is my recommendation.
Regardless of the staff they foot is 5 stars.

I was today’s years old when I became aware of Arkins bbq. Hour Detroit hosted an event called Grill Fest and I was so so impressed by Arkins. I never ever buy ribs from restaurants but I’m so happy I made an exception today. Ribs were amazing and the staff was so so kind. Looking forward to visiting them again soon.

Carryout only. 10-15 minute wait was exactly 30 minutes. They did apologize, which I appreciate. Guy taking orders was friendly. The (fatty) brisket was good. Tender. Not dry. Half chicken – dry. Pulled pork – dry. Polish sausage – closer to jerky than smoked sausage. Not really edible. Jalapeno cheese biscuit wasn’t bad. Neither were the baked beans. Chocolate chip cookies were the star of the show. I’d go back for those and the brisket. Not for anything else, unfortunately.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I placed an order for an Arkins Holiday Meat Tray along with several sides around 12:50 today. I called because I wasn’t sure if they could accommodate the large order for the same day. I spoke with a friendly, helpful employee who said it could be ready in 30-60 mins. I arrived and the place was packed! I waited my turn and received my order right on time. The food was delicious!!! I can see why they were so crowded. This was our first time here, but will definitely not be our last. Happy Holidays to the entire hard working staff!!!
