I had the cup and char and it was so good. The crust had that perfect wood fired crisp on the outside but still a little chew in the middle. You can taste the quality right away.
The pepperoni curled up just how it should and got those crispy edges with little pools of grease. And the hot honey? So good. The sweet and heat with the salty pepperoni is such a perfect combo. It doesn’t overpower anything, it just makes the whole pie better.
The spot itself is always a great vibe too. Cozy, relaxed, and you can tell they care about what they’re putting out. Easily one of my favorite pizzas in Rochester.

Dined in at this very nice restaurant with no hesitations. The menu wasn’t overwhelming, a great selection to choose from. The service was exceptional. From when we walked into the restaurant and when we left. We were greeted with respect. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Low lights, classy, relaxed ambiance. ordered the Margherita pizza and the Tommy V. (V for vegan/vegetarian). Great portions and tasted delightful. Would go back! If you have trouble parking, just know we witnessed one of the employees helping a customer park

Being from the midwest, we are still looking for “our pizza place” but I think we just found it. And as a huge bonus to us, hither have Cokes! You must add on the stuffed garlic bread. Can’t wait to get back to this place.

Forgive me Ardor for I have sinned. As someone who went to college in New Haven… I must confess I cheated on Ardor this past week with a certain new pizza place. My partner and I have been ordering at Ardor since I discovered it existed this past summer. But, a new shop labeled as New Haven style popped up; and I had to see if they were really talking the talk. After my boyfriend and I tried it we turned to each other and both said “it’s good, but it’s no Ardor.”
We picked up Ardor tonight and we will never be diverting away. Ardor for life!

THE BEST PIZZA IN ROCHESTER. The vibe is very relaxed and clean. Really liked the open kitchen and could interact with the chef, who was friendly. We tried 3 different pizzas and I really liked that they didn’t all taste the same! A nice mix of some traditional flavors and creative options. The Big Dill is worth trying! You can tell that the owner is a real chef. We liked the restaurant so much we got a gift card for my son’s birthday. Putting this place into our date night rotation.

Absolute gem on Park for wood fired artisan pizza and other fare. Spinach artichoke dip might be the best I’ve ever had. Tried a white garlic pie with cracked pepper and parmesean, fantastic. Located between two drinking establishments. Has a good amount of seating, but parking is a challenge. Owner is very friendly. Service excellent with quick prep time. Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian options. Wine, soda, beer. Great hours, offers take-out. Will be back often.

So we were looking for a thin and crispy pizza and, they nailed it! Sorry for no pics of food, we inhaled it!
Before Ardor we went to Apogee for a drink and saw that Ardor actually delivers! Whoa!!!!
However, I love the atmosphere at Ardor so we trekked down the street.
Staff were amazingly personable, bathrooms were impeccable.
We’ll be frequent flyers here.
Plus they have some kind of point system – can’t wait to see what that brings.
