The family that runs this place is SO nice. I wasn’t sure I was in the right place as the signage is understated, but the building is bright green. Everything is homemade. The burger and fries were delicious and fresh. The wedding cookies were good, but just a tad too salty for my preference. The tea was perfect. I’d come back.

This hole in the wall is absolutely fantastic!! Two of us had lunch for under $25 and the quality was great. The burger was phenomenal. I left none of it on my plate!

Customer service was superb. Like others have mentioned, don’t let their building’s appearance fool you. This burger joint hit the spot. I ordered an 8oz Ultimate Burger combo and was not disappointed. Burger was perfectly prepared and fries were crisp and hot. Will definitely recommend!

Thus place is the epitome of a family owned business and you are going to want to have their food over amd over again.
It’s not healthy, but it is amazing.
The burger? Best I’ve had
The fries? Different, but so so good
The breakfast tacos? Absolutely giant but so good.
The emplyees/owner? Amazing and incredibly kind.
While you’re waiting for your food take a second to talk to the extremely sweet owner. He loves to talk to his customers.

The epitome of a family run restaurant. Felt like I was having a meal at home with my family. You can tell they put a lot of love in their food. Best burger hands down I’ve ever had. There are more expensive places in town to eat but none as good. I will be going back.

Wonderful food at very reasonable prices. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, nor is there any ‘yuppie’ or ‘hipster’ ambience. But the food is amazing.
I had the chorizo eggs—I swear there were at least four eggs scrambled with the chorizo. The refried beans actually had flavor—something lacking in 90% of Tex-Mex restaurants.
I didn’t order a hamburger, but you can order by weight, and the ones I saw emerge from the kitchen made me wish we weren’t just passing through.
My wife had Guisada Tacos and she loved the flavor of the marinated beef. They were out of barbacoa, another reason I’d like to revisit.
They also have an almost endless list of taco options.

I was in Cotulla for for work with the local Doggett dealership. I seen this place on Google for food near me. I like to try individually owned places when I’m in new towns…. so, Archy’s was my destination. I past it the first because upon seeing it I had to make a mental decision to stop… it looked like a road side shack that had been falling apart for years…. but deciding to go in was for sure a good choice. So, don’t be scared. I got the ultimate 16oz cheese burger which was huge, and seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly….was beyond amazing. I travel all over the country and this is top 1% the country has to offer. Burger 9.9 out of 10…. I only dock it the .1 because I’m a 6’5″ guy and I could barely hold it and bite it. Other than that…food freaking amazing… the staff is talkative, and amazing as well….lesson learned…what’s the old saying…don’t judge a book by its cover…if you are in Cotulla or close…this is a must if you are a hamburger fan. I hear the tacos here are amazing too…. maybe next time.

It’s a hole in a wall type of place “the best type of place to get great food” with the best burgers I’ve had in the last 20 years. It’s 60 miles from my house one way and it’s worth it… the sweet tea is great too… Chips and salsa was good too.
