My wife and I go to Archie Moore’s in Wallingford every year because it’s where we had our first date. What started as a dating anniversary tradition has now turned into something we do with our kids, which makes it even more special for us.
We really like Archie Moore’s. It’s a solid sports bar–style restaurant with good food and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We usually order wings, and this year my son and I split the boneless wings, which were very good. I ordered the smash burger this time. While it was okay, it wasn’t really smashed the way I was expecting. I was hoping for more of that crispy, lacy edge, and it felt more like regular burger patties. It didn’t blow me away, but it was still fine.

My wife enjoyed her sandwich, and overall the meal was good. One standout for me, as always, was the Cajun fries. They’re my favorite thing on the menu, and they didn’t disappoint. The kids both ordered chicken tenders and really enjoyed their meals as well.

Our waitress was very nice, and even on a Friday night, it wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

This place has a lot of meaning for us, and we always look forward to our yearly visit. Nothing negative to say. Just a good meal, good service, and a place we’ll continue coming back to every year.

Came here for a work lunch. We all had wings. They were really good. There were so many food options to choose from. I am looking forward to going back.

The ambiance was nice, lunch was quiet at around 11:30am, and service was friendly and prompt.

The restaurant has a cool vibe. It was a good time. Worth a visit.

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Archie Moore’s. The original buffalo wings were good but small. My son loved his 12-inch hot dog and fries. Two of us had bunless burgers. Our food was tasty, and we were able to substitute a nice side salad for fries. Our server, however, seemed annoyed and bothered. The rest of the staff were quite pleasant.

I love everything about this place. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. The service is excellent and the prices are why people also keep coming back.

Great place for late night hangout. The food looked amazing! I didn’t order food since I already ate, but have heard good reviews. Next time. Service was great, friendly crowd and welcoming atmosphere.

Archie Moore’s on St. Patrick’s Day? Absolute madness – in the best way possible! Sipping on Guinness and devouring those Jameson-infused boneless wings was a game-changer. Seriously, those wings are like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The vibes were buzzing, the service was slick, and let’s just say, Archie Moore’s knows how to throw a party. Count me in for the next round – I’ll be back for more wing wizardry and Irish cheer!

Went to Archie Moore’s with expectation of decent wings, after all Archie Moore is a known buffalo sauce. What we got were dried out over cooked wings that were awful. (Didn’t even bother with taking the left overs) My drink (club and Tito’s) was supposed to be a tall cocktail was some where in between a short and tall with the price tag of something much greater.

2 meals inside. Pizza and a pesto chicken wrap and 2 chicken finger meals to go.
Pesto wraps were pretty good. Real mozzarella and fairly good pesto.
Service was average. So the few people there I expected better.

Arrived home with 2 chicken tender meals to find only chicken (no fries) and to find the chicken was rubbery nugget material. Very bad taste of old frier grease. B+ on the pizza and pesto wrap. F on the ‘chicken’
