In the early afternoon today (12/08) my niece and I walked in to order some food (with intentions of placing it “to go”). Upon entering, the first thing we hear is the young black female employee talking to somebody in a deliberately disrespectful tone of voice “See this is why you shouldn’t be off back line.”
We walked up and stood there, waiting to place an order. The female employee made no effort to greet us or ask us to please stand by, she’ll be with us shortly….. nothing. Instead, however, with her back to us she continues to berate the employees working on the back line, aggressively and disrespectfully commenting on everything they’re doing. “You need to fix that.” “You’re making a mess.” “That’s too much, it’s only a pinch of lettuce.” “It’s gonna fall apart.” and several other very loud and vocal comments that the entire dining area could clearly hear. The two working the back line couldn’t even say anything – she just was just going on and on in a hateful manner about every single thing they were doing. My first thought was to say something of “If they seem to be doing absolutely everything wrong, get back and there and show them out to do it properly.” (I could see the wraps being made, personally, and they didn’t seem to be doing a bad job.)
After hearing this for a few minutes, I decided to leave. If she was openly treating her team members in that regard, I was not about to volunteer me or my niece to be next. As we were clearly walking out the door, there was no effort to even turn around, no apologies, nothing. She just kept digging into the back line team members.
I tried calling the location for an owner’s contact but nobody answered the phone. So, unfortunately, I feel like this is the only place to notify the location of this behavior. As I said in the beginning… the food is normally good from there. It’s why I gave an overall of 3 stars and not 1. I have my favorites and they never disappoint. This specific employee, however, is completely unacceptable. It cost the company business today.
I do wish tho, for walk-in customers, that the drive-thru wasn’t priority.. few times, I was standing waiting to order, definitely before a car pulls up, the drivethru the beeps for a car and the attention is off the person standing in line, please take our orders first, were a priority too… I still ring the bell tho!
I ordered delivery and I recieved it Hot and made right.
Fish Sandwich was Hot.
Potatoes Cakes where Hot.
Shake was great!
It is nice to be able to order something your craving and getting it Hot and made right.
I even called the night manager to let them know that they did a Great Job.
