I posted the food I ordered in house from ARASHI ramen on social media and my friends clowned on me because i spent nearly 100 dollars for 2 sapporo black beers , a spicy ramen bowl with extra meat with sprouts and egg and char siu. also a side of garlic chicken karaage and takoyaki. my payment included tip aswell. I really like this place. too expensive for the neighborhood. the food is the best . i feel the money was worth it. my server was very cute and the workers here are very kind. the place gets crowded and you must sign in and wait to be seated. the atmosphere was great. I like sitting at the window and people watch as i enjoy myself. is a 90 dollar order like my order too expensive for Ballard?

Arashi Ramen in Ballard is hands down my favorite ramen spot in Seattle. I always order the miso tonkotsu, and it’s consistently solid every time. The broth is deep, rich, and delicious, with a generous portion of scallions, corn, and tender pork belly chashu.

Service is always quick and courteous, which makes it an easy go-to whether you’re stopping in for lunch or dinner. Parking can be a bit challenging midday, but if you go earlier it’s usually not an issue. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving great ramen.

I love this ramen shop…it’s one of my favorites. The broth is rich and delicious, and if you like spicy food, their spicy bowl definitely has a little bit of a kick. The staff is friendly, service is usually quick, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Parking can be a bit difficult because it’s in a busy part of Ballard. It’s all street parking. Highly recommend this place if you’re a ramen fan.

Cold Sunday meant we were wanting something warm and comforting, so we settled on getting ramen for lunch. I had heard good things about Arashi and it wasn’t too far from us, so that was our pick. We got there during happy hour so we got the edamame and chicken karaage for a discounted price. We both got the spicy miso ramen, and it was super tasty! The broth was flavorful and the toppings made it a flavor bomb. We both said we’d like to come back or do to-go orders next time we are in the mood for ramen. Check this place out!

Cozy spot for great ramen! Spicy tantan men is the best! The staff here are great too. Always friendly and even remember your order if you’re a regular. When it’s busy, they hustle to get tables cleared and people seated, but don’t rush you. The karage is delicious too.

Order the Arashi Ramen bowl now! It’s super yummy . I came by for lunch with a friend and we both agree that this ramen shop is the best in Ballard! Quite authentic with rich broths and the karaage was perfectly cooked if you like chicken.

I stopped by right when they opened and grabbed a seat at one of the wooden tables. The interior has an older, lived-in vibe with its basic black metal stools and red paper lanterns hanging by the windows, but everything looked very clean. Since I got there so early, it only took a few minutes for my shoyu tonkotsu ramen to come out, which I definitely appreciated.
The bowl looked great when it arrived, complete with a sheet of nori and half a soft-boiled egg that had a perfectly jammy yolk. The sliced pork belly chashu was really tender, but the broth itself was surprisingly light. Honestly, it was a bit too mild, which ended up being an issue because of the bean sprouts. The raw flavor of the sprouts was just too strong for the lighter broth, and they ended up overpowering the dish and throwing off the balance of the bowl. It is a decent, quick spot, but the broth needs a bit more depth to stand up to the toppings.

Best ramen in Seattle, maybe in America. The spicy tan tan men is the best. It is such a unique sesame based broth that I literally day dream about. Pair it with a Kirin, and forget about it. So good. The staff is professional and efficient, even when it gets busy. Great to eat in, great to take out. It is a Ballard staple and one of the first places I recommend to anyone visiting from other parts of Seattle and beyond. Lately I’ve been getting the curry too and its DELICIOUS. I not so secretly wish at least 3 of my meals per week were from Arashi Ramen.

Every dish was amazing. Shio Tonkotsu is a classic and this restaurant does it right. It has a limited menu, but some things are seasonal, and there seem to be specials run. I studied abroad in Japan and this is one of the more authentic ramen shops I’ve visited since I got back to the states. Fantastic place, would recommend for anyone wanting a good experience. It was pretty busy Friday night, but the line moved quickly. Great shop.
