It was out first time there. We celebrated our anniversary. My husband was not happy that they did not acknowledge our anniversary, as all fine dining we’ve experience do. He had salmon, I can’t remember the dishes name but his bok choy was inedible. It was so chewy that we ended up taking it out of our mouths and putting it on the side. Aside from that his meal was tasty. I liked my dish but the purple carrots was a bit too hard because every time I cut it my knife hit the plate loudly. Which was embarrassing because it appeared as though I was fine dining for the first time. We liked that our meal came with a bottle of wine. You don’t get to pick really. You either get red or white of their choosing. Our waitress was nice but she took too long to return at times. The violinist made the experience romantic. At times it felt like she was just there for us. Overall, we liked our first experience.

I would rate Aqua a Michelin 5 star restaurant. The land and sea entrees are outstanding with a experienced waitstaff that knows the menu. The atmosphere is quiet enough you can have a great conversation with your family, friends or spouse. Aqua and Cantarro’s are the only elite restaurants in the Northville Plymouth area. All the rest are 4 star and below.

The experience I had wasn’t what I read in other reviews. The short rib was ok. Very fatty. Only one rib. Then I was given a baked potato that was not fully cooked so not soft. The one rib was placed on top of the potato.
The veal chop I asked to be prepared medium rare and received a medium well and was looked at like I was complaining.
Food isn’t the best I’ve had better in fast food soul restaurants.

I usually don’t write elaborate reviews for a dinner experience but AQUA deserves to be mentioned! This was our first time here because some of our favorite restaurants were all booked up for Valentines Day.
Despite the fact that it was very, very busy, the food was second to none. My husband had the Shanghai Calamari and I had the Korean Bbq steak bites. The calamari was so tender. I honestly never had them that tender and we do eat at very nice restaurants all over the globe. The side salad was super fresh with very little salad dressing. None was needed it was so good. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the Filet Mignon, both very tender. The limoncello mascarpone cake was also a hit. We will definitely return!!!! Thank you wait staff for your patience. You barely had a minute to breathe and Thank you to the violinist who played her violin to Andrea Bocelli – Con te partirò. Special request from us.

Went there for Valentine’s Day with my wife and very glad we did. The atmosphere was very warm and romantic. They had a musician going to every table playing violin. The food was great. We had lamb chops and steak, both were very much to our liking! Overall, would definitely go again!

Great food, atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious. My favorite place to eat, the food is amazing every single time. Dana is an amazing waiter that we ask for every time we’re here, which is at least once a week, the owner is very hospitable and greets everyone with a smile. A perfect restaurant for every event!

My husband and I decided to spend valentine’s day at this place because the food and service was very good when we visited 1 year ago. Unfortunately, this time was awful. We had a reservation and waited half hour to be seated, ppl that came in after us got seated before and I dont know why? We had to get up couple of times to ask when is our turn. Then we order the bread that made us come back to the restaurant, absolute horrible. It was cold and not fresh. Then my husband ordered a proseco and got it warm. My meal was not a wow meal for the price I paid for, the surf & turf (95$). Very disappointed with the service and the food this time.

Wonderful ambience. The staff was polite and incredibly attentive. I was concerned the portions would be more of the small plate nature based on the photos they have on their digital menu, but the plates were an okay size for the price. Food was beautifully plated and the drinks were well crafted. This was a great date night experience. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a “fancy” date night, a birthday celebration, etc.

My date made reservations for us to have a great pre-valentines date for 7:15. He requested a booth. When we arrived we were told that our booth was not available and that we could wait at the bar until one was available. An hour later the booth still was not available.We eventually choose to take the table. The dish that he got in November was no longer available. Once seated it took another 15 minutes before we got a waitress. Around 9 we placed an appetizer order which was taking forever. They closed at 10 and were beginning to take up the tableclothes. We decided to just pay for our drink( which 4 drinks came to $60) and leave. Very disappointing experience.
