Went in for a solo dinner after getting off work early, I have social anxiety but Skyler was more than willing to let me pick my own booth in the section I was being seated in My server was Ryan and he was very attentive both before and after I was served my meal constantly stop by to check to see if I was doing okay and asking how my food was and I did not catch the name of the manager working today March 9th after 6:00 p.m. but it’s very rare that you see a manager helping to bus tables and helping his wait staff. I didn’t catch The manager’s name but I was very impressed.

I met the best waiter of my life — his name is Upert. This was, without exaggeration, the best service I have ever experienced. It was my birthday, and he went above and beyond by singing a birthday song to me while playing the guitar. It was truly unforgettable.
His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made the entire evening exceptional. By the way, the food was delicious. But! I will gladly return to this restaurant again and again just because of him.

We really love the happy hour, half price appetizers, there are a lot of tasty choices.
I love the grilled cheese cheeseburger, especially with the sweet, tangy bacon sauce!
The only complaint we have is, we almost always have to ask for them to make fresh fries. They always seem to have been sitting around, on the first try. Once they are fresh, they are really good fries.

I had a late lunch at Applebee’s in Salem, Oregon today 12/9/25. The server’s name was Anya. She has a great smile, she’s kind, personable, attentive, yet not overbearing. She warned me that the Cajun pasta dish I was ordering may be too spicy for some people, which I appreciated. The dish came in an appropriate amount of time. The meal was hot, and it was spicy, yet for me the meal was just right, and well prepared. Server Anya asked if I wanted my coffee filled, which I did and she brought me a whole new fresh cup. At the end Anya thanked me for coming in, told me about a burger special being ran during the holidays and invited me back. Wonderful service and an excellent meal. I will definately be back!

Met with friends, and had a great time. We hadn’t talked in a while, so we were there a long time, but not a problem with them. They were very gracious with us. Great place to go to meet family and friends, and excellent service.

Its a cool place to get some drinks or food for pretty decent prices! The food tasted excellent and the staff was so friendly. My order came out under cooked but they were so quick and friendly to get it replaced. Great place for kids too, there might be a couple things they can eat here. The large round booth needs a new table though as it was hard to get in and out when sitting down.

In all honesty, we only went here because we had a gift card we needed to use. Applebees isn’t usually our first choice. However, we had such a great experience I just had to leave a review. My husband and I had our one year old daughter with us, which is sometimes a headache for restaurant servers. Our server, Rebecca I think was her name, was amazing. She anticipated every need, was so kind and friendly, and really went above and beyond her job duties. A simple lunch outing left me feeling grateful that there are still great people in the world. Thanks for the great service!

I was driving by tonight when my sugar dropped and I needed to eat. I thought I would get a To-Go but I had to eat so I could drive. Jessica K sat at the bat with me and made sugar my orders were completed. She gave me orange juice and my sugar became normal. I know God put me in the right place. Cory the manager greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. My food was ready immediately. The best customer service in SALEM.
