Great place for all occasions! I came in for an early Valentine’s luncheon with my son — I haven’t been out in a while, so it was extra special. The new menu is fantastic, and the drinks truly amazed me. I was so happy to see they brought back the prickly pear flavor — it’s delicious and so hard to find on menus nowadays. I really hope they keep it!
The staff is amazing. Shoutout to the manager, Yesenia — you hardly ever see managers checking in with tables to make sure everything is going well. It made such a difference. And the bartender, Paola, makes incredible drinks!
We will definitely be coming back. 5 stars!

Been coming here for years and it’s been pretty ok for the most part. I came in on 11/20/25 and the restaurant was semi busy but it was an issue with the greeter getting folks seated. It was unorganized and the original greeter disappeared and this guy comes to help and has no idea who’s next but he got us seated. It took a good 15 to 20 minutes before a server even came to the section but once she did she was nice and did well. I tried the grilled cheese cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and I didn’t like the sweet tasting sauce they put on the sandwich as I like my burger savory. The meat was bland also but the mashed potatoes was decent. If you try this new item I’d say tell them to put the sauce on the so you can taste it first to see if you actually like it.

I was craving salmon tonight, so I randomly decided to try Applebee’s. I ordered, salmon, green beans, and loaded mash and this is what they brought me after waiting 30 minutes. When they handed me the plate, I looked at the waitress, as if this was some kind of joke. I told her I was missing the green beans and she said, “oh yeah, I’ll be right back”. I was so amused and shocked that they would hand me a plate like this. I’m 41 years old and this is the worst plate of food I’ve ever been handed… Very disappointed.

Stopped by this spot for a casual dinner and had a mixed experience. The Southwest Chicken Bowl was flavorful, but the chicken was a bit overcooked. Service was friendly but slow, possibly due to the busy evening crowd. The atmosphere was lively, though the noise level made conversation challenging. Overall, decent food but room for improvement in service and ambiance.

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars based on my first experience. It was absolutely terrible.
My party of two arrived during late lunch on a Sunday. It was slightly busy, which we completely understood. We waited about 15 minutes just to be greeted and seated by the host. After finally being seated, we then waited approximately 45 minutes without a single server coming to take our order.
We were patient because we understand weekends can be busy. However, what was especially frustrating was seeing multiple servers or employees standing around while avoiding eye contact when we tried to get their attention after sitting for over 30 minutes.
At that point, we decided to leave because we had already wasted enough of our time. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression.

We celebrated my nephew’s birthday here with a party of 7. The seating wait was reasonable for our large group. Our server was friendly and the staff did an awesome job making him feel special for his birthday.
However, service had some issues – entrees arrived before appetizers, and my sister-in-law received the wrong order. The server was pleasant, but the timing and accuracy could have been better.
Good for the birthday celebration, but the service execution needs improvement for large parties.

Nice reasonably priced restaurant in Alameda next to Trader Joe’s in the south Shore shopping complex.
Based on recent experience , the food is actually well prepared here and tastes surprisingly good. We selected the from $28 package and got the fiesta lime chicken and a 6 ounce sirloin along with onion rings as the appetizer selection. The onion rings were great, crispy crunchy even when cold and not greasy. The fiesta lime chicken was grilled just right and wasn’t dry. Taste wise, every thing was good. Nothing fancy or weird, just straightforward and good.
Clientele is diverse, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Familes, multi-generational families, friends, and couples come here for an inexpensive meal or a beer and snacks. The background music is easy on the ears and lends well to conversation.
Service is polite and friendly
Park near the Kohls department store to avoid the mess in front of Safeway.

My cousin chose Applebee’s to celebrate her 41st birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. We sat at the bar where she enjoyed the chicken Alfredo, while I had the strawberry chicken salad. Our waitress was professional and ensured our food arrived promptly. Overall, it was an excellent outing, and I’m definitely looking forward to returning.

A bunch of very young adults work there. We went on a Saturday night and the service lacked. My grilled cheese cheeseburger came out with only one slice of the bread toasted. Our two daughters age 3&6 finished their meals before me and my wife’s meals arrived. Would not go back unless its for the bar. They did make a nice margarita.
