Saturday night out with my adult kids and Applebee’s in Sparks was the perfect choice ❤️ ️✨
We wanted to get out of the house, enjoy a nice dinner and spend some quality time together, and everything was just wonderful. Our server Chris was super attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome the entire night
And as always… the wonton tacos were absolutely delicious deli deli 100/100!
The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was on point and it was the perfect spot for a cozy and enjoyable family night

After going to the Kietzke applebees I guess I got spoiled because the are prompt and better at customer service compared to the Sparks location.If I could give negative-10 I would I went their last night to pick up an order waited 19 minutes no one in dinning room or bar thought I would go to food max before they closed came back to Applebee’s waited another 5 minutes only customers no employees went back near kitchen asked the waitress if she h a d my order I’ve been waiting 20 minutes she finally came out ignored me walked past me 4 times did not say a word tried to show her what was ordered and name she totally spaced me off she only stood by one customer table and talked for 3 minutes completely ignored me finally Someone else brought out me food.No apologies for the wait kack of customers service nothing. By the time I got the food home the food did not taste good it was cold dry had to give it to my dog.Your only as good as your weakest link it starts with management which is terrible.The other Applebee’s are fine the one in sparks I will never go to the food is almost as bad as the service.When I asked to speak to the manager the waitress said she was busy.

Today is Friday I came in around 3. I got the 3 appetizer deal. The chicken wonton tacos are pretty good. I didn’t really like the riblets and the chicken wings were ok. The mango mule is amazing if you want a drink. But enough about the food. My server was Katie. She is the best even tho I didn’t like my food. Katie’s smile made my dining experience. Katie if you see this I’ma need you to smile more!

Wow! What a wonderful place. I’ve always enjoyed Applebee’s for 20 years or more and especially the riblets. You can’t really find them anywhere else.
However, this Christmas, I was blessed with a gift card for Applebee’s! It was perfect gift as it was for $25, which I thought would be enough for one meal, as I often enjoy eating alone. This is due to my busy schedule, attending college classes and staying active with my local Christian Church. Well, I went in, gift card in hand and sat down. The waiter was amazing. He didn’t rush me, and gave me time to look over the menu. There are so many delicious things that are available at the Applebee’s restaurants. I noticed a large sign with the burger and fries special.
The waiter came back to give me some water. I asked him about it and he explained that you had your choice of either the spicy chicken sandwich or the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink! I couldn’t believe it? Is this one of those small little mini burgers I asked. No, he commented. It’s a full-size burger.
I said I’ll have it and give it to me pink. All right, no problem he said.
I enjoyed the burger thoroughly. It was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and everything about it was perfect. Even the fries were acceptable. The dinner was terrific, but when the waiter came back, I asked him about desserts, which he offered, and I felt like having some ice cream. They have a small ice cream scoop with a very small chocolate fudge brownie and I didn’t really want that much so that was perfect.
The waiter warned me that it was very small and I said that’s great, then he said yeah you won’t have to feel guilty tomorrow about eating too many calories! And it was perfect as small as it was it hit the spot, very delicious.
So overall it was a great experience. Later I found that there are two restaurants competing for the $9.99 special and that’s a good thing to have that kind of competition to provide Excellent dining options.
The best part, of course, is that my $25 gift certificate will provide me with two meals, and I fully intend to return very soon and perhaps try the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a drink, oh my!

I can’t really say the food was great. More on the disappointing side, truth be told. The “pickle spears” seemed to be the bottom of the barrel left overs and the celery that came with the boneless wings was limp and almost translucent.
The main reason for this review is to give our server Anna, much needed credit. The table next to us had a couple and the lady was just over the top unwell, rude, and just…. we’ll leave it at “unwell”. But Anna was so patient with her. The “kill ’em with kindness” theory in full affect!!!!!

This location lacked heavily in customer service. They did comp us a dessert each for the bad experience though. The desserts were sub par also. The staff must have been having a really bad Sunday. The food arrived to the table cold. The music was blaring when we got there. We couldn’t talk to each other or think clearly. They did turn it down when we asked though. Won’t be returning to this location at all.

(Came in Sunday evening) Let me 1st say ROSE the bartender was fantastic! Great service and super attentive she really is a gem.
The food was quick, well seasoned, and flavorful. I haven’t been to a Applebee’s in quite sometime to this was a great experience. Hats off to the entire night crew.

Ordered to go at 10:30 p.m. took 45 minutes to cook a cheeseburger and fries. Then the french fries were cold when I tried a few on the way home. Take out burgers should have lettuce, tomato, etc on the side so it doesn’t make the bun soggy! Apparently they missed that culinary lesson. Cold fries and a soggy burger. Now that’s NOT eating good in the neighborhood.
