Usually I love apple-bees but I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this one. I love the 3 cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders but I have no idea what they were thinking with the pasta sauce apparently they were thinking no sauce. The chicken was good the breadstick is mediocre as usual but the noodles are what I always look forward too. This was literally just penne noodles with no sauce. This was extremely disappointing and on top of that i didn’t get the Diet Pepsi I ordered I got a mountain dew which I wouldn’t be a problem if I liked mountain dew but I don’t. So overall this was some pretty bummer meal to spend $30 on.

I came in with my husband around 8 p.m and we both ordered two steak dinners, both medium rare. They both came out undercooked, but mine specifically was raw. We waited almost 10 minutes before we could get the servers attention to ask for it to be put back on the grill, because everyone that worked there was too busy sitting down at a table eating and talking. By the time our server got me my steak back, which was extra crispy on the outside and just taste like burnt grill at that point, my side dishes were cold and my husband had finished his entire meal. We asked for the check and all our server said was “sorry about that steak” and then went back to sit down and eat at a table with other staff/ the manager. This was some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. From the very beginning, all the staff cared about was standing around talking. I’ve worked in the service industry as a server for 10 years and I’ve been bartending for 8. I’m as understanding as a customer could be, but it was just ridiculous. Not even a discount on our check, not an apology from the manager, nothing. Actually, we watched our server talk to the manager before bringing our check, and it seemed as if the manager thought we were being dramatic and that it was no big deal. Getting served raw meat is kind of a big deal. The service you give people makes a HUGE difference in their experience, and it’s honestly ridiculous that was the experience we have. The economy is hard, and people go out to dinner to have a easy end to their night. Paying $50 for such a shitty experience is insane to me. I worked at Applebees when I was 16 and the standards have dropped incredibly.

Our server, Brandon, was very nice. That was unfortunately the only positive about our experience at Applebee’s. We walked in at 1:27. A few minutes later we were greeted by the host. She said she could seat us but it would be 10 minutes before we would have a server, we agreed. What ensued after being seated was a series of long waits and mistakes, one being we didn’t get our appetizer until we were done with our meal. We left at 2:57. Yawn.

The bartender kyle was amazing. All of the food came out perfect, except for cold mashed potatoes, which were discounted. The manager came out and made sure we were totally fine. I highly recommend trying multiple things on this menu. The chicken sandwich was amazing. The butter pecan dessert was amazing. We’ll definitely make this a spot to visit more often.

I will preface this by saying that I’ve NEVER had any problems with service/quality @ this location until tonight. When my boyfriend & I got there @ a little before 6pm it wasn’t very busy. The host seated us right away. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to come take our drink orders. It took another 10 for her to come back with them & to take our order. In the mean time a table of 3 was seated on 1 side of us & a table of 6 was seated on the other side. The table of 3 (same waitress) almost immediately got their drinks & appetizers. Ours didn’t come for another 5 minutes after theirs. As we got our 1 appetizer, the table of 6 (different waitress) started getting their entrees. After another 30 minutes the table of 3 had gotten their entrees & finished. The table of 6 was finishing entrees. We STILL hadn’t received our entrees & our waitress hadn’t been back. We finally got our entrees around 7:10. My boyfriend had ordered a steak medium rare & it was extremely rare. I had ordered a burger medium rare & there was NO pink at all. Our waitress didn’t check on us at all while we were eating. We had been done for about 10-15 minutes & had to flag down a different waitress to bring us the check & pay. We asked to speak to a manager but were told that there was only 1 on site & she was dealing with another problem. The waitress didn’t know how long we would have to wait to speak with her. We were both fed up by this time & decided to leave. On top of that it was freezing inside the restaurant. Both my boyfriend & I were so cold we were shaking & our teeth were chattering.

The waiter that had began to serve us walked out 10-15 minutes after we ordered drinks and food which he didn’t even write down or take note. Had waited 10 minutes to get drinks minus a margarita which we waited another 20 minutes for after having to ask another waiter where it was (she was a nice blonde middle aged lady and could tell she was exhausted yet trying to serve people) but by the time it came it came in a beer tap glass even though we saw others before and after we received ours in a margarita glass. Then by the time 2 of 3 appetizers came out the Caesar salad was drenched in the dressing almost being enough to make you sick. We had still waited another 10ish minutes for the other appetizer being honey bbq boneless wings which when they first came out we were served buffalo boneless wings and it was like warm but the female blonde waiter was nice enough to let us take the food back and get the right kind, but by the time that was we still were served the wrong wings and given plain bbq ones. By this point we had started getting the entrees in which were the chicken Alfredo fettuccine another chicken and pasta dish and a grilled chicken with side of mashed potatoes. The food ranged from luke warm to cold, the breadsticks were over cooked stiff and chewy, the side of mashed potatoes was a very small portion compared to the table beside us who had the same thing, then were also not given any knives to cut the meat. The burger and fries we ordered with request of no onions or the jalapeño sweet and spicy sauce got served with both on it and we were able to get it remade which regret doing that because it took another 15-20 for it to comes out luckily boxed up since we were already boxing up the rest of the food. During the whole time we were there, there had been 4 other tables who also complained about orders being wrong, waiting for more than should be expected, a couple who’s food was not right after waiting over 20 minutes and deciding to just leave, a different table of 5 having also waited a long time even for appetizers ended up requesting the manager the bald guy to have a talk with him, 2 elderly ladies next to us having waited just about as long as we had and left after only been served drinks. The blonde lady, the short brown haired guy with short beard and tattoos was working hard, and the young lady with dark brown hair also seemed to work hard. But the white guy who was slightly bald brunette with glasses had just walked out what seemed to either be mid shift and quit or finished his shift yet left orders not written down and not correct. Which them caused the blonde middle age nice lady having to serve the tables on the right half of the restaurant (where we were) and the area she had already been serving. Then when we were about the leave the manager had talked to a family of 4-5 who had just walked in about the lack of staff and another guy who we saw walking in as we left only to have walked back out 2 minutes later. The slightly bigger set black guy who was cleaning tables had seemed to be very tired and had enough with everything. Overall the young guy with tattoos, the younger possibly Hispanic girl with long dark brown hair, and the Middle aged blonde lady had all been to be doing to the best they could and tried to keep working with proper expectations. Overall food was mid, orders were wrong, and waited more than is expected and we were there for about an hour forty, but we were fortunately discounted for multiple items due to varying reasons which we appreciate, but the manager and higher ups really need to do better about this because numerous other people were experiencing the same as us while we were there.

I came here a week ago for my birthday and I’ll say this. I definitely recommend steering clear and going to the one in the mall. The place was empty and we still had to wait to be seated. The tables were super sticky. When we ordered the waited didn’t ask what flavor we wanted our appetizer wings he just assumed. The quesadilla was drenched in grease and the cheese was not melted. We ordered the all you can eat and my fiancé got the popcorn shrimp. They brought out what looked to have been grilled shrimp that didn’t look cooked all the way. I got a birthday desert and the brownie was hard and practically inedible and the ice cream was soup on the plate. Disappointed would be an understatement. We were warned before we came, but I tried to give them a fair chance. I won’t make that mistake again.

Wasn’t feeling well so ordered delivery. I ordered a steak prepared medium and there was ZERO moo left in it. Broccoli was so overcooked and mushy it wasn’t edible. Lettuce was shriveled up and not fresh. Tried calling several times then finally had someone answer. I waited over 20 minutes then got hung up on. I tried calling back several times and no one would answer. I understand being short-staffed but maybe it’s time to close this location. The service and quality of food have plummeted, unfortunately.

Arrived around 6:15pm and almost missed the turn because we couldn’t see the restaurant. No outside lights were on and it was already dark outside. The sidewalks were getting slick so I informed the employee that sat us. I specifically said, tell the manager that they need to put salt or something out. When we left, the sidewalks were still very slick. No salt was put out. The service was slow. Food was just ok. We ordered a quesadilla with just chicken and cheese. When it came out it was barely warm and there was 2 small (like the size of a pea) pieces of chicken in it. The 2 steaks we ordered were overcooked. The other food was not up to the usual standards of Applebee’s. We also noticed that the tables closest to the bar didn’t have the appetizer table tents advertising the triple play appetizer offer and they didn’t give us any menus with that on it. We order this all the time. We came from out of town (Michigan) and we frequent our Applebee’s. The food is normally pretty good and consistent with good service. An overall disappointing visit.

My daughter earned a free kids meal from school for being a great student. Today we went in to get her free meal to go. It wasn’t busy at all, empty restaurant, ordered a cheese quesadilla and fries. 45 mins later, nothing. Asked when it would be out, waitress said “they’re trying to get it together.” We walked out. Not much of a reward for a good student. I could make a cheese quesadilla and fries at home faster.
