This was my first time ever going to Applebee’s — and we visited the Mankato Applebee’s location — and wow, what a great experience!
I brought my young son with me, and from the moment we walked in, it was such a fun and welcoming environment. We went on a Saturday and there was no wait at all, which was awesome. Plenty of easy parking, too — everything was just smooth from the start.
The service was absolutely top-notch. I believe our server’s name was Landon, and he was perfect — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. The manager Paul (as I remember) even came to our table to make sure everything was going well, which really shows they care. I told him everything was fantastic — and I meant it.
The food was delicious from start to finish. We had 2 full meals with an appetizer and desserts, and everything was very tasty. The portion sizes were large, and the prices were great — especially for how much food you get.
Honestly, I had always had a bit of an aversion to going to Applebee’s for some reason, but I am so glad we stopped in. It completely changed my perspective. It was a fun lunch, great atmosphere, amazing service, and just an all-around excellent experience.
We will definitely be going back!

After spending $40 on a meal, you would expect to get value for your money. I ordered baby back ribs with coleslaw and fries through Uber Eats just now, and got the most driest fries. I couldn’t even eat them. Had to throw them away. They were old and dry. Why not just refund and say you are out of fries than serving something that a customer won’t be able to eat. Why? The even food came with no cutlery or napkins.

I originally made a 5 star review since I typically get takeout if I do go to applebees. Its my second or third time actually going inside. Im not really a confrontational person so asking for something to be remade isn’t something I do if I’m on my own.
But my appetizer tasted a bit odd like something was wrong with the marinara and Ive had the marinara before and never had any issues with it so Im not sure what it was today, so I just left it alone.
My pasta was good no issues there.
But when i got the dessert I ordered it was completely melted like total soup. I took one bite trying to tell myself its fine, they had also given me a really tiny brownie which i was fine with since Im not a huge sweets person. But i just wanted a treat that wasn’t completely melted so I asked if I could have it remade. In the second photo I didnt do anything but take some of the hot fudge off my icecream. Honestly the dessert is super cheap so I wasnt expecting a huge brownie and a huge scoop of icecream, but I at least hoped for an actual scoop of icecream not a half one lol. Food is good but save yourself a little time and go elsewhere for dessert

Had a server that was absolutely incredible. The level of detail and service was something I’ve never seen before. Grant our server definitely deserves praise and the manager Lisa supported the service team incredibly. I’ve eaten at many establishments over my time and never considered this one of my favorites. Today completely changed my mind. A customer for life, truly.

Our server Jaxson was amazing! We ordered the shrimp and parm steak, 8 oz sirloin, margaritas and some happy hour appetizers. We had requested medium for the steaks, one came out well done but jaxson was super quick to fix the issue for us! Super friendly and great conversation! The manager also stopped in to make sure everything was correct and offered us a free dessert. Everything thing else was great as always

Best Applebees I have ever been to!!! My waiter Grant was so helpful and nice to our group. The manager Lisa came over and made sure everything was okay and made us feel very special.

I’ve ate here a few times the food is pretty good it can get noisy at times but other then that it was okay. I usually like getting their burgers their really good and so is their dessert . I came here once to eat with family and friends as a big group to celebrate my graduation, and they were able to accommodate us in a room with enough space for all of us. The people their are also friendly and nice, a very welcoming atmosphere.

Sat at the bar and ordered drink, appetizer and dinner. Service was great and waitress/bartender was very friendly and customer service friendly. Had Sam Adam’s and it was cold and not flat. French Onion soup was spot on and dinner was great. Would come back if back in town for sure.
