I came in this past weekend and boy were they busy. We had Mason as our waiter and he was excellent. He was polite and courteous, the busyness didn’t even faze him. The manager made her rounds which was nice. For a busy night it was great to see such teamwork. I will definitely be recommending this place!!

I had the best time at Applebee’s. It was my daughter’s birthday and our server Ada was awesome. They sang to her, the manager Vanessa was even singing and made sure that everything was okay. That’s hospitality if you ask me. Thank you Applebee’s for making my daughter’s day special, we will be back!!! Kudos to the cooks as well, the food was on point!!!!

I called the store after getting my order. The person I spoke to was extremely rude. She said if you have an allergy it’s not our problem you should have requested it. Allergy or not if I request a change I don’t see why that’s hard to do. The sticker printed and placed on the plastic container says it.

Waited over 30 minutes for our meals. Asked for medium steak, came to the table basically raw. Waited another 20 minutes for it to be made right. Chewy steak. Definitely won’t be back, if I could give no stars I would. Do not recommend!

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I was very frustrated trying to order here. No fault to the manager but we waited 10 minutes to get greeted, the manager cleaned a table for us but the hostess said she already sat someone there. We sat down at 6pm, waited about 15 minutes for our drink order. Waited another 10 for our drinks. We put in our appetizers when we got our drinks, heard nothing for 45 minutes. Left cash for our drinks and left. Worst service I’ve had from any restaurant period. No fault to the manager but the rest of the employees are pathetic. Went to okemos and got our food in about the same amount of time it took to be greeted in Holt. Embarrassing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Applebees on cedar, and I can confidently say it deserves a solid five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for a wonderful evening for some afterwork drinks and football. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, the manager on duty Matt guided us through the menu with enthusiasm. Each dish we ordered was a delightful experience, showcasing the kitchens creativity and passion for flavor. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the shrimp Parmesan steak with loaded mash potatoes and cheesy broccoli ,which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, leaving us wanting more.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the overall dining experience was top-notch. The restaurant’s attention to detail, from the carefully curated drink menu to the thoughtful dessert options, truly elevated our evening. I also appreciated how the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions without compromising on taste or quality. I left Applebees feeling satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a remarkable meal in a delightful setting!

Waited at the host stand for more than 5 minutes before even seeing an employee. We were 1 of maybe 7 tables in the whole restaurant yet service was extremely slow and our server never came to check on us. Saw my server 3 times total (to take our drink order, food order, then for the check) other servers brought us everything else. Even though there was a promo for free spinach dip or mozzarella sticks on our next visit if they forgot to ask about gift cards, which they did, there’s no way I’m coming back. There was also a staff member loudly rearranging tables and chairs, despite the phone ringing for several minutes. Sidewalk was also very icy and needs salt, it’s a slipping hazard and shows they are negligent to their customers. Terrible service from all staff all around.

i’m a very patient person and definitely not one to complain, but tonight was probably the worst service i’ve ever received. first my order was placed to be ready at 8, i show up a lil early maybe like 7:50 no big deal just check in online since i placed curbside. by the time it hits 8:15 i’m like okay maybe because i ordered alcohol and they need my id i should go inside maybe they just don’t bring it out to the car. i get inside, everyone is incredibly friendly which of course is great, but they haven’t made my drinks yet. i’m thinking okay that’s fine i can wait a moment i’m not in a rush, drinks don’t get to me until like 8:45 so honestly i’m starting to get a lil frustrated. the manager is very apologetic very nice and offers me two apps coupons and i’m thinking okay maybe i was waiting a long time but at least i can get some free apps next time i come in, only to find out the coupons the manager gave me expired a month ago! overall weird vibes, bad experience, probably won’t be back.

So I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough pie skillet! Last night it was two separate orders one was a fully loaded waffle fry and then the other was obviously the chocolate chip cookie dough pie Skillet now on the one order for the waffle fry I went my state name Jorel, mind you not realizing when I made my second order! I went with my national name (Yael), the manager I spoke to last night I told me that they would make a separate message for the manager for today! Now she’s telling me the manager today said to call back tomorrow why would I call back tomorrow when I can just walk up there and just find out where my order is at! And that’s what I’m going to do

Mason truly went above and beyond and made us feel genuinely welcomed the moment we sat down. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and pride in his work really stood out. He anticipated our needs without us having to ask and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. You can tell Grayson cares about the guest experience, and he represents Applebee’s extremely well. Management should be proud to have him on their team.
