It’s 32⁰and windy outside. They sat us, 4 feet, across from the doors where employees and customers were constantly going in and out to deliver or pick up curb side orders.
It’s Veterns day so we had Already waited 45 minutes to get this table. We asked if we could be seated somewhere else and we’re told it would be another 45 minute wait to do that and we didn’t want to have to wait again so decided to tuff it out. I ordered less food than I normally would have because I just wanted to eat a quickly as I could so we could leave.
Our server, Taylor, was great and very understanding. She asked the staff in the foyer to please keep the inside door closed, as people were getting cold. The 2 to 3 who heard her tried their best but then there were about 6 others who didn’t know of the request and would leave the inside door open and when anyone went in or out the outside door the wind would blow straight at our table. Some would even just stand in the outside door way not allowing it to close at all. Nothing like the cold wind blowing at your plate of food and making it cold just after it’s served and making us too cold to enjoy our meal.
We don’t blame any of the staff for the flaw in the seating layout.
To the MANAGER OR OWNER, please reconsider the door placement of your curbside pickup or don’t seat customers there without asking if they’d mind this inconvenience, and a cold dinner, first.
Again, thank you Taylor for being great at your job and doing your best to help

At 68 years old with experiences of dining in restaurants in 32 different countries and all 50 states I have never been more proud of an establishment than Applebee’s. I had the honor, yes honor, for the experience, the gift I witnessed today at this extraordinary location. There was a wait list and the restaurant had veterans everywhere because they had a veteran menu. I was not aware of this upon my driving by. I am not a veteran because I was not allowed to serve when I was eligible in terms of age but not due to my sexual orientation. My esteem has no limits for all the men and all the women who sacrificed with the intent to serve against risk knowing possible consequences awaited but yielding onward offering their contributions with full force to protect us and others. You will see in this photo a table they had at the front today. There was one chair there. This setting was beautiful and each piece represented the significance of the aforementioned sacrifice. The one chair at the table is empty representative of the man or woman who is not with us today. Halfway through my meal it hit me hard. Something overcame me. Because after I looked at the table and read the inscription on the framed plaque I then glanced at the tvs from the bar and then moments later looked at the menu. Then it hit. I am sitting here today because someone else can’t. These are words I have known all my life yet today they hit me on a level like never before. What Applebee’s did with their display is to give representation with great significance of a reality that unfortunately for many people November 11 becomes another day without work and without the postal service. A day that way too many do not understand and it is up to ervery generation to teach the younger ones. We cannot forget. I met the manager Dave to express my appreciation but I lost it speaking to him and my voice was tight and I was choking back tears but I thanked him for listening and he became empathic as he understood my emotions.
In terms of the restaurant outside of this special significance, I had the barbecue wings with french fries. The service was consistently great while they were slammed with a good number of patrons. There was a light jovial interaction that I witnessed between many servers and veterans who made up about 90% of the patronage when I was there Tuesday afternoon.
I’ll be back. No doubt. And from here on forward no matter where I sit I will realize there is someone who is not sitting with me and their absence allows my presence. God bless.

We came in to eat with the family, we had a table of 7 and Johnny got us in to eat in a timely manner. His service was nothing short of welcoming, friendly, and great service! He not only told us what he’s doing because he was busy but he made sure we had drinks and got our food in as quick as he could with how busy it was. He made us laugh and accommodated all requests with the food! 10/10 recommend this location out of others and asking for Johnny next time you’re in!

I don’t normally leave reviews but she made my week! she was so upbeat and full of sunshine and she made us laugh so much. The first time we came a year ago, we were sat in the coolest guy’s section, John. When we first met he started cracking jokes and ever since we sat in his section because he made us feel at home. Sitting in his section is always a vibe and he’s one of the homies for life. He always keeps a positive attitude. He can make the room light up as he walks in. He always has a smile and handshake for you.

Restaurant wasn’t busy at noon. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Service was slow but finally placed an order which took much too long to receive. When it did come my food was cold. Broccoli barely cooked if at all. I had coffee also but was not offered a refill. It will be sometime before I return. Applebees what happened to you ??
