Stopped in for a quick Sunday lunch. We got the 2 for $25 which includes an appetizer and 2 entrees. My chicken fettuccine was great, but her “medium” steak was definitely still mooing(see last photo in the review). If there’s one thing I know it’s that you don’t send food back at a restaurant so we lived with it. But it was a solid rare steak and not medium in the least.
The restaurant is a bit dated inside, but was still clean. The manager is a bit over the top in walking around talking to everyone.
Overall would recommend for a quick lunch or dinner, there’s just nothing standing out that makes it a must go or must visit. Applebee’s is just kinda losing its spot in the market these days.

Let us begin with the fact that I am immunocomprimised. Going out to eat at a sit down restaurant is not easy, especially on a Friday night. My teen went in and asked if they possibly had a table we could enjoy a meal together slightly away from other patrons. We came at a less busy time and were prepared to order online if we couldn’t be accommodated. The hostess got the manager and after a short musing they found a spot for us. Staff was very caring and understanding of this much needed outting. Their light, laughter, and joy made our night enjoyable. They took care to keep as much space between us and others as possible. I felt understood and welcomed.

I don’t normally give a bad review, but I need to. The soup was luke warm. I place an order for a sandwich without onions. I got onions. I asked for waffle fries, the waitress gave me a plate of waffle fries with cheese and bacon. In the menu, there is a $1.00 up charge and since I haven’t eaten at an Applebee’s in years I didn’t know what to think. I got the check and there was a $2.99 up charge. When I spoke to the manager he seemed put off that he had to deal with it. He handed me $2.00. It was his attitude that put me off.

The kitchen was backed up. I asked the door attendant if we could sit at the bar. I was informed by the blonde female door attendant at 4:10PM on 02/14/2026 “Like you don’t have to eat here.” This was rude and uncalled for. A simple no would suffice.

I had a great experience partnering with the Applebee’s team in Auburn, IN. General Manager Montou was incredibly welcoming and professional from the moment I arrived. Lyhia, the Kitchen Manager, and Kenzie, one of their servers, were both amazing to work with—friendly, attentive, and truly representative of a strong team culture.

Hello, I took my family into Applebee’s on Saturday 12/27/25. Our day was going extremely good, but that took a turn, right after me and my family sat down!!! A middle age short man (general manager I think)sat us down in a booth and then went to the booth behind us and started yelling at a man and a little girl. That little girl was crying within seconds!!! The manager was yelling pointing his finger in the man’s face. Telling him to leave.. the whole dining room was looking at the man and child I can’t believe the way the manager acted!! Also when was it allowed for an establishment to publicly shame a man and a child? I give credit to that young man, the way he handled himself in front of his little girl and the establishment bravo sir . I truly believe that young man should talk to a lawyer!!! I asked my server the name of that manger and she said, Monty. So on my way out we looked at the servsafe on the walls , his name is Monty Sosa

You should be finding out whom that young man is immediately!! To make it right !!! Not only make it right but publicly apologize to him and his little girl!!

The restaurant was freezing!!! Food became cold rapidly. They were out of broccoli which is crazy to me. Said they were out of cucumbers the week before! Waitress did make a fresh pot of coffee for me – that was nice.
