We are from Oregon and decided to stop in somewhere we “know”. My husband purchased his favorite Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. The entire plate was over cooked and lacked the deep flavor it is supposed to have. It didn’t. I purchased a side of Mac and cheese instead of fries for my prime rib dipper . It came COLD. No exaggeration. Ice cold. I took it home for later. The sandwich was ok bc of the Auju & bread. The meat had been killed twice. For real. Dry. The waitress was Nina and she was sweet and on the job but super quiet. Hard to hear her. She was the bright spot. We also found it kind of funny, coming from Oregon, all of the snowboard and ski skiing pictures where we were sitting it made us look up where you can ski in Mississippi We found one spot with artificial snow

I haven’t been to a Applebees in a while and tonite didn’t disappoint! Our waitress was so so kind and our food literally looked like the picture and tasted even better! Walked in and sat to the left can’t recall our waitresses name started with a T so we can say Ms.T. She made suggestions and showed us the specials with a great vibe. I’m a local business owner and had to take the time to write this much deserved review. Truly appreciate how kind and friendly she was to me and my son after a long work day. Tomorrow is thanksgiving and I’m thankful to have had a good nite out with my son and Ms.T deserves credit! Also want to give huge props to the kitchen and bartender as well we will return soon happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I only gave this two stars because my friend and I stopped by this location just to hang out, first off the appetizer tasted off, I got my favorite spinach dip, as we ate we both noticed something wasn’t right. Well I soon noticed that the chips were stale, so I ordered a fresh batch which was brought and the manager made sure it was cooked properly and I appreciated that. My issue was when I got ready to leave, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough sizzling dessert. But before I was able to order it I was told I had to go ahead and pay for my previous order because the ticket couldn’t be taken back and I was like why can’t it be charged on a separate ticket and she looked crazy like I asked a dumb question and soon said ok. I really wish I checked my food before leaving because it wasn’t a cookie I received it was a dry broken up piece of whatever they had left in the kitchen and I didn’t appreciate it. I understand it was close to closing but I left at 9:25 there was literally no one hardly in the restaurant so why couldn’t I receive fresh food on the go. I am highly disappointed and wish I hadn’t paid before receiving my to go order. I won’t be going back to this location because the staff was more concerned with closing and going home than giving good service in the end.

This was one of my favorite restaurants when younger. I stopped eating out as much so really don’t visit very often. Went today because they offered Veterans a free meal. This has been going on for more than a decade but I rarely take the time to enjoy the offer. But I definitely appreciate what they do each year for Veterans. We were also given $5 gift card. This was unique to all establishments and once again very thoughtful!!!!! Someone in corporate really put a lot of thought into what it means to be a Veteran.
My cousin and I decided to go together. We had such a great experience as the server was very nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. The restroom was also clean.
I ordered pasta and he ordered chicken fingers. The pasta was very good!
They also have 2 Veteran parking spaces which is very thoughtful! We serve during a war and FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE so to go as far as having special parking spaces means a great deal because most establishments don’t do this!!!
I highly recommend visiting this location! There is plenty of parking and easy access if you use traffic signal.

Third trip to this location. 2 managers and 6 employees in the bar. 7 customers counting me and my guest. Sat at the bar and took 12 minutes to get any attention. Asked for a draft, that was flat. Asked for a second draft and the tap was dry. Asked for a bourbon and diet Coke and they blamed the ABC store for no liquor. The phone rang for several minutes but the manager told one of his only 2 people even waiting tables to get it instead of getting it himself. Absolute worst managed establishment I’ve ever been in. We left and went down the street. This place will be reorganizing soon.

It was so very clean in their on Halloween day the manager is so super nice and the workers work hard . Soon as I and my daughter came in the door we were greeted from staff and it didn’t take long to be served . I was ordering to go but because of how nice they were and how squeaky clean the restaurant was I wish I had of ate in . The food for my daughters was a great price (kids meals) they cooked their food fresh left nothing out everything was fresh . I will be back and will be eating in next time . They all deserve a raise and some tips I highly recommend this place .

Most times when I’m in Jackson with my family, & friends we must stop at Applebee’s Grill + Bar. We’ve never been disappointed, their food is always on point. Just ✔ out what we ate this time. The prices are reasonable as well. When you eat here you won’t have to break the bank. They do have special at great prices. The people are very courteous, friendly, & nice & that help a lot also. To me Applebee’s Grill is a nice place to eat with your family, & friends! Enjoy, & Happy Holidays! ☃️

I’m not here to bash places, & I’m not trying to be rude or mean. I’m just brutally honest. Haven’t been to an Applebees since Covid, & thought I’d give another shot. When you walk into the door, it’s a bad smell in here. The tables are all sticky. They don’t have draft beer, which Applebees is known to advertise for & I love those tall glasses. Nope, not here. Cheesesticks were ok tho. My Bourbon steak was undercooked for medium. It was still alright & I ate anyway. My gf’s salmon tasted fishy & wasn’t good. This is the last review I’ll give for an Applebees, as it’s not for us.

I ordered the fajita special and was very disappointed! My server was so nonchalant. I sent the shrimp back 3 times and each time they were completely under cooked. So I was unable to eat them. She insisted that the shrimp were fully cooked…I stopped the manager to advise that the shrimp were undercooked and he stated that this is how Applebee’s serves it…we were never offered beverage refills and the service and food basically sucked. We will not be returning! TBH…they actually don’t deserve a star at all. While speaking with the manager he just cut me off stating that he would remove the charge for the shrimp and I advised him that my point in letting him know was not to get the shrimp credited because I came prepared to pay for whatever I ordered, but to make him aware that the food was being served undercooked! He didnt seem at all interested in fixing that problem.

It’s been a good while since I’ve been here. I went to Applebee’s today & I had the full rack of double glazed baby back ribs & the double crunch shrimp with fries & cole slaw. The food was very tasty & hot & the service was on point as well… You gone need extra, extra napkins eating those ribs, trust me on that.
