We had to move to the bar to get any service after waiting at our table for 15mins. I ordered grilled chicken and it looked like skin colored playdoh with no flavor and a few grill marks. Not worth stopping here at all.

Got off a 10 hour shift and really just wanted to have a nice meal. When we got in the host acted like we were ruined her life by coming in at 10:40pm on a Friday. Asked for a table for two she sighed and just said “ok” while rolling her eyes. Got sat, took 15 minutes to be greeted, 8 more to get our drinks after that… We saw our server twice during our meal, manager brought out our food, she seemed annoyed when we asked for sauces. Food was good, just overall a very negative experience at the Port Charlotte Applebees :/

We had a great dinner at Applebee’s. The food was delicious. Our servers were also very pleasant and accommodating.
The cocktails we ordered were very weak in flavor, but the bartender gave us new ones that tasted much better.
The food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. However, it was well worth the wait.
Overall, we liked the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.

Wow! Had a great experience at this location tonight! We had Ashley she was on top of the drinks! the food was delicious! and the manager Jerry came to check on us to assure we were okay. Very polite and personable.They all made us feel very welcome 🙂 we will definitely be back!!!

OUTSTANDING WAY TO GO APPLEBEE’S!!! We stopped on 11/11/23 for Veterans Day, and they had American flags outside and military flags hanging throughout the restaurant. When we walked up to the hostess, she asked us if either of us were military and gave my husband a veterans menu and a card for a Sam Adams. When the hostess walked us to our table, she thanked my husband for his service. Our server was Debbie H. and she was MARVELOUS she was personable, efficient, and kind, and she also thanked my husband for his service. On 11/3/23, Lay was our server, and she was magnificent, kind, and efficient. Fantastic customer service!!! Our waitress was Emily, and she was very efficient and personable. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. Don’t forget 1/2 price appetizers 3:00pm-6:00pm & after 9:00 pm Dine in Only. We stopped at Applebee’s on 11/11/24, and again, they go all out for Veterans Day. I had the Prime Rib Dipper & Fries. The fries were tasty, and the sandwich was sooo good. I absolutely loved the bread, and the sandwich was full of flavor. We also order every Tuesday for their $9.99 Burger Deal, and they never disappoint.

Normally I love Applebee’s. I really like their Oriental chicken (fried) salad. But this time the chicken pieces were definately overcooked and hard to eat. The breadstick was also overdone. And the chicken was barely warm. Husband just had a burger and it was fine. But definately very disappointed.

Great food, sometimes service can be lacking with some servers, you’ll be lucky to get asked if you want a refill while your cup sits there empty for the rest of your meal, the drinks are amazing, except for the “flight” one, steer clear of that scam lol, 4 terrible watery tiny drinks for 20, big disappointment, the appetizers are delicious, the new 2 for menu is stupid, who ever in upper management corporate decided to change it, you failed, all in all, will go back, mostly for the appetizers and drinks, the corona rita is the best thing right now <3

The menu is very varied. It caters to all tastes. The service was wonderful, and I have to say that the food tasted amazing. This location really surprised me.
