I literally just got home, and here goes.

1) waitress never introduced herself, to ANY of the surrounding tables
2) I ordered the OM burger, never asked me how I wanted it cooked. Came out well done and dry, never finished it. I hardly never finish a burger
3) brought kids dinner out with appetizer, like we asked. Chicken tenders were 90% breading. No plates with appetizer (classic sampler). They rectified the kids meal with 2 more tenders, miraculously very juicy and meaty.
4) brought meals out only a few minutes after we started picking at the appetizers. Took most of that short window to get us plates for the apps
5) asked for lemons in our sodas, no surprise, no lemons.
6) didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert, we were both dying for a blondie, were so dissatisfied we wouldnt have ordered it anyway

It smells like mildew in the restaurant, like there was an HVAC leak at one time. Otherwise Julian is always very pleasant and attentive. We tried both specials. Very delicious

Fantastic visit. I haven’t been to one in 30 years or so, and it’s WONDERFUL to see they’re keeping their quality standards up, unlike Outback and Oregano for example.

Stopped in for lunch at Applebee’s today. Overall, the restaurant looked a bit old and tired, and it felt like it could use some freshening up. The food was okay nothing special but definitely on the greasy side. Service was just average; our server was pleasant enough but not particularly attentive.
One of the bigger issues was cleanliness. Both the dining area and the bathroom could really use a good deep cleaning.
Unfortunately, the biggest problem was the temperature inside. It was freezing. It was so cold that it made it hard to even enjoy the meal. We weren’t the only ones who noticed either, other guests around us were also commenting on how cold it was. We asked if they could adjust the thermostat, and while the server said she’d try, it didn’t seem to make any difference.
Overall, not the worst dining experience I’ve had, but definitely not good enough to make me want to come back to this location.

First visit to this appleby’s… it was very good. Sat at the bar (it was moderately busy). Bartender was good – not super friendly but helpful and efficient. Ordered the prime rib dip and Asian chix salad. The sandwich came out HOT including the fries – it was great! Asian chix salad was good except the dressing spilled underneath the salad and it was so much that it was overdressed. They also forgot the breadstick. We would definitely try this restaurant again.

I wish I would’ve caught the servers name tonight but she was absolutely AMAZING!! Had the best personality and very attentive! You could tell she was very busy and looked as if she was the only server on the floor along with a bartender but she handled everything so well! Bartender also had a wrapped bar but was getting those drinks out FAST to tables! Food was also hot and so delicious!

Bartender guy with the beard tonight needs to slowdown when trying to communicate and wouldnt let me finish speaking before talking over me assuming. Got my order wrong abd was rude. Maybe because its the last hour the staff is mean and unhappy but why do the customers pay for their issues with the job? We can spend our money and waste our time somewhere else. Thanks

My BF and I went to Applebee’s in The Villages Florida, We got the pretzel with cheese and mustard appetizer they were beyond good so soft and steamy on the inside the out side slight crisp the just added a wonderful texture . I did not dip in the mustard but the cheese sauce was creamy and not over powering giving room to fully experience the flavor of the pretzel the salt and cheese. For our Entrée we each ordered thier Steak and shrimp. He got it medium I medium rare we both notedThe flavor and tenderness of the meat was outstanding. The mashed potatoes and green beans I got were full of flavor and hot. He got the fries and green beans he said the fries were cooked perfect not soggy at all nor were they so crispy they were like stones. The server I wish I knew her name was so on top of things we did not have to even ask for refills. When she came to check in she always seemed to show up at the perfect time between our bites of food. She was friendly professional and took the time to make us feel like she cared about us as customers. The restraunt, bathrooms and parking lot were all clean and welcoming my only issue they should set the timer for sprinklers by the entry for after closing i got a bit wet walking through the door.

Went there Saturday Nov 15 at 6:20ish. Terrible experience. Told a 20 minute wait, but more like 40. 12-14 cleared tables but no one being seated. We found place at bar finally, but terrible service. Bar tender very inattentive to customers and more worried about the drink orders. Made to feel put out because I ordered tea and not alcohol. They could not make me a mule so I settled for tea. Bar tender made sure he told customers “I have to go in the back so give me a minute , insert attitude here!”Got appetizer but no meal. Spoke with manager. Turned out bar tender put a “hold” on our meal without asking us. He did not want our meal to come out with appetizer because kitchen was backed up. Then forgot to put in our order. 40 minutes to finally get our grilled chicken that tasted like fake meat. This was our third try of the evening to eat in Lady Lake last night and was such a bust. Bad management for sure. Never even offered us a free coke or dessert or anything. Learn customer service or don’t be in this business.

Disappointed.
We went by to get a bite yesterday. The service was good and the waitress was friendly.
Cheese sticks were good.
I purchased fish and chips again. The fish was watery, the batter was kind of greasy, and the batter was doughy on the inside.
All three pieces had a different texture. Not a very good meal.
I had the fish and chips. The food was good. The greeter and server were great. The restaurant was clean.
