I was pleased with my experience here. I placed my order online before my work break started. When I got there it wasn’t ready and I was a little upset but the bar tender was kind enough to prioritize my order although he was basically the only one in the restaurant handling the customers. He also gave me a drink while I waited. My spinach dip was fresh and tasted delish! I have yet to find a spinach dip that’s better than Applebees. I have tried several other places and I rate Applebees as #1 for years!

Our server, bless her heart, was in the kitchen helping to make our meal because they were so understaffed. I understand that we had a big party, so we were expecting a bit of a wait. However, it took Josh over 20 minutes to ask for our drink order and 20 additional minutes to receive said drinks. Again, I’m understanding and sympathetic to the fact that he wasn’t going to be our server, but it’s just a lack of attention and care from an industry that relies heavily on tips. Josh also made it very clear to our hostess that he didn’t want to be sat because he “was leaving at 4 and didn’t give a shit.” Again… service. industry. time and place Josh. Our waitress really did try her best and she remained really kind throughout our time there even though she was clearly overwhelmed. This location needs more employees to operate properly, and that change can only come from a corporate level I imagine. I’m honestly very surprised by all the positive reviews because I personally have never had a good experience at this location over a 10 year period. Do better Applebees and then maybe you wouldn’t see such a high turnover rate.

My family and I a party of 13 went there on January 17 2026 at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon after a memorial service that we had attended for my brother-in-law. We were seated and it was about 35-40 minutes before they even came to the table to take our drink order. Josh was overheard saying that he was leaving at 4 o’clock and did not give a crap and this was after we had gotten there. He did finally come to the table to get our drink order. It was not busy in there when we first got in there there was maybe four people in the place. It was 6 o’clock before I pulled into my driveway and I live in Snellville so that’s how long we were there we waited forever. It was as if no one wanted to take our table. One of the girls that was with us did not receive her food until we were about to get ready to leave. I’m sorry but big party or not this could’ve went a lot better. I was told the manager was sitting back in the office. He or she did not come out to the table to check on our service or anything. The waitress that finally took over for Josh was back in the kitchen cooking our food. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if they had had a rush yesterday this was horrible service and I am sorry to say that I will never be back to this Applebee’s again. I’m not sure how this restaurant has stayed open over the years because I hear constant bad feedback For this restaurant. They could’ve come out and offered some kind of explanation or compensation or something for the service. We got our appetizer when the food was served. It was cold. I’m not sure who the manager is at the store, but they should be fired. I just felt like the bartender or anyone could’ve come and taken our drink order quicker than they did. Josh was not professional and disappeared after we got our drinks. The waitress I’m sure did the best that she could.

I want to take a moment to brag on the Loganville Applebees and especially their new manager, Brian Banks. Since he stepped in, the whole place just feels different in the best way possible. The staff seems happier, the energy is up, and you can really tell the morale has improved.
Brian has a natural way of talking to people, both customers and employees, that makes you feel welcome and appreciated. You can tell he truly cares, and that attitude spreads throughout the whole restaurant. The service has been smoother, the atmosphere friendlier, and even the food seems to come out with more pride behind it.
I’m honestly excited to see how he continues to make things better, because if this is what the first stretch looks like, the future is bright for this location. Huge shoutout to Brian and his team members for bringing such positive change. I hope Applebees knows what a great person they have in him.

We decided to go here after my dad’s memorial with some of our close family. My dad always hated this location & we’d actually stopped coming here as often because of it. We thought we’d give another try & see it was a mistake. Let me preface with we were some of the only customers in the restaurant. A couple people at the bar, maybe one other table. More people trickled in about 30 minutes after us. We ended up being there for 2.5 hours with our table of 12. To start, Josh had made it obvious to our hostess he didn’t want to take our table, which I understand because if your shift is almost over, you don’t want to be sat an hour before you leave. I imagine it’s a regular issue with a slow kitchen, slow service, etc so I get it that he probably knew how the night would go, but it’s still not okay to say in earshot of customers. Our waitress I guess arrived about 30 minutes after we were sat & took our order then, Josh started us off & took our drink order. He was high energy which was nice, I can tell he’s a good waiter but what we heard before we were sat kind of put a bad taste in our mouths. Our waitress took our order & we didn’t see her after that. No drink refills, no checking in only to find out from another waiter that brought some tea, water, & sprite refills by that it was because she was in the kitchen herself helping cook our food. I can’t imagine what these servers here endure for such a cheap hourly rate only to get the brunt of all the issues with this restaurant. We had no manager come by our table to apologize, only to read another review here (90% of the negative reviews have seemed to disappear ironically, but the service has only gone down from when I was last here with my dad years ago so I know they’re getting deleted), the manager had denied that the reviewer’s table had received slow service while only half the table had received their food & walked away mid conversation to watch the game in his office. Very similar to what we experienced when one of our friends hadn’t received her plate at all, we all finished our food & had watched other tables that walked in about half an hour after us receiving their food before she ever did. Our poor waitress brought it out directly from the kitchen & you could tell she made it herself. She was being overworked & underpaid for what I’m sure she endures often here. None of our food was comped (im sure because she would need manager approval, obviously he wasn’t around & likely would come out of her tips at the end of the day). Working in service myself, it’s clear exactly what’s going on here. Bless these poor servers having to endure the hell from less understanding customers that should be going to the manager and his apathy to how this restaurant is running. I don’t imagine this location will be open much longer with how terrible their reputation has been the last few years. Hope these servers can find a place that truly appreciates them. Also I’ll have it be known, these 2 stars would be 0 if it weren’t for the effort our waitress put into making sure we got our food, no matter how late it came, she was doing a job that wasn’t hers to do, getting no extra pay for it either. Corporate definitely needs to get involved & fix the hot mess of lack of management, get that guy out of here, it’s obvious he’s not doing anything in his job description except getting the paycheck, leaving all the brunt on his employees. Will drive to Snellville, Lawrenceville, or Bethlehem before I ever go to this location again.

Came into this Applebees for lunch. Sabrina was our waitress. She was very sweet and had great recommendations. She was such a great waitress and very professional. The food was hot and fresh. I will be back to this Applebees for sure. I highly recommend.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Applebee’s, and I do not ever intend to return. From the food being very underwhelming to the amount of time we waited for our food to come out and how long we waited for our alcoholic beverages, the experience is not worth it. The sad part is, our waitress was nice and attentive, but had to apologize every time she stopped at our table because the experience was so bad. The chicken tenders were overcooked and dry, the pasta for my four cheese macaroni was overcooked and mushy, and the “double crunch” shrimp had ZERO crunch and was just soft. Save your money and eat somewhere else.
