My food was decent but the service was not up to bar. It quite literally took an 45 minutes to an hour to get our food and drinks, plus only one person at our table got a refill. The appetizer came out after the food, which 2/3 of the main courses were cold so i’m highly unsatisfied. I don’t expect high quality service from applebees, but common courtesy i guess. Service was terrible & I think the managers should have one-on-ones with each other and the staff to work on the level of professionalism and quality of the food and staff.

CUDOS TO THE SERVER CHARDONAY AND CUDOS TO HENRY THE BEST DANG STEAK COOKER EVER. PLEASE OWNER OF APPLEBEES DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO TO KEEP THEM. BEST SERVICE AND FOOD IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! Service was not on par with the food.
We got to the host stand and waited a few minutes until what seemed like another customer told us that someone should be with us soon. 1 person and another group of guests arrived after we were seated and both got their appetizers and main meal respectively before we got our appetizers. We let our server know and she got us our app shortly after. The atmosphere was very noisy with music and guests had to speak louder because of this. Overall, a 3⭐️ because an Assistant General Manager reached out to me after I completed a short survey on their table consoles.

For starters, we had to wait for a table to be cleaned to be sat and the restaurant was full of clean ones. Odd. Then it takes our server almost an hour to ask us what drink we want, 30 minutes later we get drinks and place our orders. As we are waiting the other waitress comments on how we still don’t have drinks nor food yet- we were thinking the same thing. Then the food and the appetizer come out at the same time , years after we ordered, and the food was cold. The service was not great, our server wasn’t rude but either she needed some help with all the tables she had or she just was ready to go. We never got checked on, had to ask for silverware and just overall it was a terrible experience. If the staff wasn’t so busy sitting around they could have better service and quality. Thank you for the $25 credit for next time but we won’t be back.

I recently had lunch here and was pleasantly surprised with how hot and delicious the food was! Everything came out just right, and I had no complaints at all. Even though they appeared to be short-staffed, Domonique did an amazing job handling the floor primarily solo, ensuring all the customers were taken care of. I really appreciated the level of service and the quality of the food despite the staffing challenge. I’d definitely recommend this spot and look forward to coming back!

It took us 45 minutes to get our drinks, then we place our order with the server; the appetizer and the main entree. Everything comes out 30 minutes later cold. Only one person got a refill the whole time we were there, we had to ask a different person for silverware, and it was hair on the appetizer. The manager Flo did help us by giving us a $25 credit for when we come back but we won’t be coming. Apply the $25 to the bill I left I guess. It also was not busy, and all the servers were sitting in a corner when we left.

After an 8 hour drive for work to get to Columbia, my co-worker and I just wanted some comfort food and a drink.Applebees was a short walk from our motel. This was at 6:30ish and the place was not busy at all. We were seated immediately. With a lot of confusion it seems by staff, it took 20-30 minutes to get a drink. My coworker ordered a beer and i ordered a “Woodford Old Fashioned”. I am from KY, so I was pleasantly surprised to see, “Woodford Old Fashioned” on the menu, not just in a list of available drinks but like in a full banner accross the menu with a picture. After a 10 minute wait, the waitress notified me that they were out of Woodford. She apologized and asked if id like to substitute Makers Mark. I reluctantly approved. About 10 minutes later, i think it was maybe the bartender, came to inform me that they were out of Makers and said i could substitute Jack, Beam, or Jameson. None of those would be very good in an old fashioned. I just wanted a drink so i said I’d just have a Jim Beam and coke but then heard, we have pepsi. Told her to go ahead at this point. Foodwise, I ordered the Ribeye and he ordered the salmon. He said salmon was very good. The ribeye, though ordered medium, was medium well to well but overall taste and tenderness of the steak was pretty good.

My server was awesome! Everything was to my satisfaction except the tortilla chips on my dish were stale, which took away from the taste and made it a weird texture, but once I took them out everything was great! I’d definately try it again.
