First time at Applebees in many many years, and it’s exactly what you would expect. Nothing fancy, but you get good food and drinks for a reasonable price.

We went for an early dinner, myself and my Mother. We ordered a salad and burger with fries to share both. We asked our waitress, Faith F. for an extra plate, to divide the salad, and 2 sides of mayonnaise for the buger. She left and didn’t return until she brought the check. She asked if we wanted dessert and we said no. She replied “Then I’ve done my job since you’re full”, and off she went again. She had never come back to bring our plate, mayo, refill our drinks, ask if everything was ok, nothing. So when she returned with the credit card, I asked her did she know what we had asked for with our meal when we ordered? She said what? I asked again ” Do you know what we asked you to bring with our food? She said she didn’t understand what i was asking her. I said when you took our order, do you know what we ask you to bring back with our food?” She said I don’t know what you’re asking me. I said I don’t know how much clearer I can ask the question. We ask for an extra plate and 2 sides of mayonnaise. She replied that she was busy and that she didn’t have time. I replied, I used to wait tables, I understand the job and you’re tip will reflect that. She stormed off, mad. I normally leave well above a normal tip. The day before we had dinner at Stone Ridge Tavern in Asheville. Our bill was just under $60. I left the waitress $25, because she actually was really busy and we had excellent service. It seems that young people today don’t want to do their job and when you point it out, they get mad, rude, disrespectful and stomp off. What happened to the customer actually getting what they asked for? What happened to the customer is right? I have been 5 places in the past couple of days and seen this same attitude 3 times. It’s unbelievable how times have changed.

Our server was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Everyone at our table seemed to enjoy their food. Not many vegetarian options on the menu, so I ordered two sides instead of a meal. Due to COVID19, their indoor seating is limited, so their wait times are longer, plan accordingly.

This is the best Applebees experience I’ve ever had. Our waiter was great! He had kind of long brown curly hair and a beard and slim. He got us everything we needed. Wait wasn’t long either. Food and drinks were fantastic. Great job y’all!

Note to self, must be white to get serviced. Went in and waited at the host table with employees sitting around. Even went to the bar looking around. A white family comes in and all of a sudden they were greated and they walked right past me.
I wouldn’t get caught dead eating at Applebees but it was the only thing open within 5 miles. I can do much worst than this review but a eye for a eye makes the whole world go blind.

I like to cook so it’s hard to have an open mind. I had a drink special made with two times along with a strawberry and lemonade mixer. It was good but initially served in a warm glass even though served over ice. Maybe a chilled glass? Hubby had their all you can eat boneless wings. He liked the garlic Parm wing sauce the best and also tried the regular wing sauce as well as the Asian. The Asian had a pepper bite. I had their new quesadilla chicken salad served with the Mexi-ranch dressing. Nothing bad to say. Erica was attentive and nice. RIP Jimmy Buffett. You made living young adulthood superb.

My wife and I went there twice for lunch. We had the hamburger and fries. The burgers were significantly different during the visits. The first time, the burgers were tasty and juicy. The second time, the burgers were greasy and more like smashburgers. Maybe the chefs were different, but consistency is crucial. I will give them another chance, just in case that was a bad day.

Not changing the ‘service’ from 5 stars. Hopefully an incident that occurred today was just that…an isolated incident.
A pleasant young lady greeted us, took our order and brought our drinks. I ordered a Souhwest Chicken Salad. My wife ordered a Chicken Roll-Up.
When she brought our food, my order was correct. My wife’s order seemed to be some type of salad…not a Roll-Up. My wife mentioned she had ordered a Roll-Up.
Our server seemed to be confused as she picked up the plate and walked away. A few minutes later she returned carrying what seemed to be the same plate.
She looked at my wife and said, “You ordered a Roll-Up right?”. My wife confirmed this and the server walked away.
Later, a lady that I believe to be in management, arrived with the correct food.
Small glitch…but it happens. Then it got weird…
Our ‘original’ server never returned nor anyone else! It took us about 30 minutes to eat our meal.
Eventually, we had to get the attention of another server working in the area, to get our check,

After church, our family of 7 decided to have lunch at this Applebee’s. This was great for my wife and I, because we don’t get to visit this Applebee’s very often.
Today. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Bowl. It was delicious and I will be ordering it again very soon.
Our server, Savannah P did an outstanding job. Especially considering the fact that the restaurant was extremely busy.
