This Applebees location has improved tremendously since my last visit two years ago. The server, Adalyn, was prompt, attentive, helpful in menu selections and her pace on checking on my mom and I was awesome. The place was clean, food was much better and price point great! My mom loves coming here after church; and although I was hesitant based on my past experience, I must say, I’m glad I gave it another try! We will be back!

I ordered take out. The lady helping me was very nice. My order was ready when I got there. My chicken sandwich was good, but my fries were cold when I got home. I don’t blame Apple bees but cold fries are not good. The sad thing is once they go cold you can’t warm them back up to make them good again. I’m sure they would have been fine if I ate it there. My wife said that her oriental salad was fresh and delicious.

I’m not here to debunk other experiences here. Maybe this is how Google reviews are supposed to work. Customers voice the issues and the management/staff committs to fixing those issues. Coming here tonight is expected the worst based on recent reviews. I got the opposite. Restaurant was EXTREMELY clean! (Including the windows). Staff was very friendly, food was as good to be expected from any chain restaurant. The manager has a large personality and I feel like she treats all her employees like her own children. Which I feel is to be expected in a very small town. Oh, and they have an old fashioned.

This is what they consider a well-done steak. I ordered through DoorDash, and the experience was terrible. The first delivery only had one bag with my husband’s steak, which came out pink inside. Then a second bag showed up later with the dessert, but it was completely melted. Absolutely unacceptable, never again.

The service on on 1/10/26 was horrible. Waitress had a bad attitude and the manager had an even worse attitude. Manager raised her voice at my daughter and it didn’t sit right with me. We ordered 2 appetizers and some mixed drinks and my daughter recently lost her driver’s license but had proof of an id with her picture, name and birthdate. They saw my daughter take a sip of her friend that was dining with us and the manager came over being very unprofessional and rude. So I decided we were going to leave since it was so much animosity in the air. I took maybe one bite of my appetizer and a sip of my drink and they were trying to charge me for it. My daughter ended up paying the tab bc I refused to. I completely understand they have to comply by the law but they could’ve done it in a more professional and respectful manner. They were very rude and trying to cause a scene and it wasn’t necessary. I eat here all the time and tip very well. We were just trying to have a nice dinner and go on about our business but they ruined that for us. I was in a good mood to leave a big tip but bc of the rudeness and raising her voice I said absolutely not. Horrible service.

Been awhile since I been back here since my last no so great experience but I figured id try again this time it was worse…My burger came out cold and my son’s pizza was like cardboard like it had been microwaved. Silverware was dirty and to top it off with my tip the bill came to $90.00 even and when I checked my bank this morning I was charged $91.00 so either somebody added an extra dollar onto the tip and thought I wouldn’t notice it or there’s some kind of hidden credit card fee i don’t know about either way I feel scammed and will be filing a former complaint about the condition of the silverware we were given as we took pictures as well as with my bank for being overcharged. Terrible experience and totally unacceptable.

My wife and I went yesterday for lunch. The restaurant was freezing. It is hard eating with a coat on. We got the 2 for $25 deal. The boneless wings were good. My wife ordered the chicken parmesan and it was so tough she couldn’t eat it. She didn’t complain about it, but just left it. My oriental chicken salad was just ok. The choices have changed on the 2 for $25. We don’t like the change and won’t be going back any time soon.

Have been here several times and honestly it is usually a hit or miss due to food, service or atmosphere. That is the reason for 4 stars. But. Today the food was excellent and the waitress was fantastic. The noise level was decent and music wasn’t up too loud like most the time. Wish I had taken pictures today. The ribs were the best I had ate in a very long time- due to the cook today!! Absolutely amazing today!

I ordered bourbon street chicken , with garlicky mashed potatoes and bread sticks with Alfredo sauce , if I could rate it I would give a 10 out 10 , and that’s not just for this time it’s every time I go to Applebees in Martinsville Va, which is always 1 or 2 a month

I am very disappointed in Applebee’s, I haven’t been there in a while I couldn’t believe the overpriced. Our 2 for $25 cost us $49 and some change without tip. And they changed the menu the options on the 2 for $ who would want it. Its really not anything special about the menu options. It was cold in side and Lord help the restroom The sink was stopped up with a out of order sign full of black water and the entire room smelled like sewage. We will not be going back. The new restaurant will be a better choice, compared to price cleanliness.
