Service is definitely a 5. I ordered online and thought that it went through. Got to the restaurant at time requested and of course no order was shown in their system. The good thing is the waitress was nice and said just take your time to re-order and we’ll work on it soonest.
Today is national wings day so Applebee’s had an online special for BOGO wings, good deal! I ordered garlic Parmesan and hot glazed wings, both with ranch dip.
The wings were delicious. Parmesan was grated fresh, both orders came with a few celery sticks.

Update: I decided to come back and try the dollaritas which was amazing!! This time I shared the sampler, had some pretzels, and the brownie bite for dessert. I had the absolute BEST waiter ever and his name was Curtis! He was truly amazing and made this experience much more enjoyable! He has such an amazing personality and provided such a great dining experience for me and my entire party!
It’s been so long since I’ve been to an Applebee’s but I decided to try it tonight. I was very impressed with the food and service here. The young lady who served us was extremely polite, helpful with providing information for menu items that I requested, and was very quick. She constantly checked up on us to make sure we were good and I appreciated it! I had the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes, and garlic greens. The food was very flavorful and I loved it! Great positions l portion sizes for a reasonable price! I was too full for dessert. Overall, I had a great experience!

Food took exceptionally long to arrive for a place thst wasnt even remotly full. People who were seated after we ordered, got their food and drinks before we did. When the food arrived, pasta was cold. Not like left in the counter cold, but cold cold. Same with the chicken. Pasta and chicken in a sauce willvhold heat decently well, so this tells me they really have low standards for food preparation. Definitely not satisfied with the food quality or service, and will not be coming back.

We had a wonderfully efficient and friendly server, plus the manager was seen going table to table, including to ours, checking on customer satisfaction. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing! They had a great special running also. They were a packed house on a Friday at dinner time and still nailed it!

First, the place was not crowded, all there was no greetings. The rest had such a foul smell,though toiletries were well stocked(automatic air fresheners please), my husband stated the men’s room had waste still in the toilet, as for the food . ..the spinach dip was watery and tasteless– cheese melted on top was all the cheese smh. My husband’s burger was okay . …big bulk of lettuce thrown on and enough fries for a 1 year old…no one said bye smh…the waitress was the best part

The food was okay, I ordered a burger and fries. My fries were cold and the burger was okay, it could use some seasoning. My man and my aunt ordered the ribs and said the ribs were dry but the bbq sauce was good! My man also ordered a side of coleslaw and said it was not good at all. Also, the waiter was okay.

My father in law and I have gone to this particular Applebees on Kempsville Road several times over the past year or so and have had excellent experiences each time. The manager, Crista (spelling?), has been very accommodating on side requests making the experience go above and beyond our expectations for most restaurants. We appreciate her attention and care for each guest. The waitresses have also been very attentive to our table. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the great experience!

This was not a good experience. The food was terrible!!! The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months, maybe years. I am so upset that I wasted my money here. Please don’t make the same mistake we did, go to Wendy’s or even Taco Bell instead. Our server did a fine job, no complaints with him.
