Absolutely awful experience yesterdays. Several months ago, I had a bad experience here with their French dip sandwich, where the meat was cooked into inedible shoe leather and I waited an hour just to receive my food in an empty restaurant.
Yesterday I decided to give them another chance, as texas roadhouse was packed. Service was good, Ryleigh(unsure of spelling) was fantastic, but when I received my sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, the inside was raw and crunchy.
Obviously I told management, who comp’d my meal, but after explaining my repeated bad experiences, he came back later with 3 20% off coupons.
I’m unsure what it would take for me to come back, for two experiences like this, I’m beyond disappointed with those cooking at this restaurant.

Brought the family out here for a nice dinner before going to Cornstalker’s. Service was horrible. Brought out starter salads, but no silverware (the guy who sat us said he was going to bring some but never did). Tracked him down to get some forks, they were almost out of clean silverware, so he asked how many. I told him we have a party of 4, but just need 2 at the moment. Gave us 2, and then came back to bring 1 more. 2+1=4 here ♂️.
Ordered a beer when we first ordered, 40 mins later and meal finished, never brought it. Told the server to make sure it’s not on the check, and he blamed the bartender for it not showing up. Food was horrendous. Ordered ‘Mac & 4 cheese’. Menu describes it as ‘4 cheese mac & cheese’ penne! Macaroni is not penne, and the “4 cheeses” consisted of some kind of watered down cheese sauce that was barely distinguishible from Alfred sauce. Even the chicken tenders were barely edible with overly hard breading. Haven’t been here in years and after this disappointment it will be years more.

Always great service and staff. However, tonight there wasn’t any heat on in the restaurant. There was an issue with it, and there is below temps of that’s 17 degrees. This is horrible treatment and bad business. It’s inhumane the restaurant chose to remain open as their staff suffered with freezing temperatures inside the restaurant. I decided not to dine because of the freezing temperature inside the restaurant. The owner’s should be ashamed and because of this treatment, I will not return. Do better!

I ordered a meal for my husband and I late on 11/21 because I had back injections earlier that day and I woke up starving. Ordered pick up online, specific sides and directions. My husband picked the food up after 11-it was terrible. My grilled cheese burger was too salty to eat, the fries were old and disgustingly hard, they didn’t give my husband the right side. We couldn’t eat the meal, only the mozzarella sticks. We took it back the next morning-all the uneaten food ready to give them the business-we have over 35 combined years in food service mgt. They quickly got a mgr and Patrina was AMAZING. She was respectful, took accountability immediately and volunteered to personally remake the entire order. She was kind, believed us, gave us strawberry lemonade while we waited and produced the correct order wonderfully made. She is the only reason I will try again with this location, thank you so much! I appreciate your professionalism, kindness and training because you did everything right!

We’re here a lot. The service is always good and the food is always hot and delicious. We come at least a couple times a month and were here on veterans day so dad and I could get our veterans meal. We were not a small party but they were extremely efficient even though they were very busy due to the holiday promotion and we were seated in about 15 minutes, I got my blue mountain dew and everyone got their yummy food like ribs, steak, grilled chicken, salmon my only issue is that they replaced their delicious broccoli with green beans. Nobody wants them beans haha. Bring back that yummy seasoned and buttered broccoli because your kitchen cooked it perfectly. Great service, staff and food. It’s a favorite go to for us and our family.

Applebee’s is aways good choice to eat. They have a large selection of different foods. Appetizer was cheese waffle fries. They were delicious. Double burger was cooked al the way through it was juicy and tasted good. The patty was thin that’s why I got the double. Fries were standard issue fries. The salmon was juicy and cooked warm all the way through. With a side of 12 peices seamed shrimp.They were great. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were good also. The Sweet tea is one of my favorites for chain restaurants. Price was good. My waiter Jake was friendly and helpful. The orders came out in a timely manner. I will definitely be back again.
Got a to go order last night. It was a large order and it was a super busy Saturday night. All the food was correct in the order. Everything was delicious. Great job LaPlata Applebee’s . 9 out of 10 stars.

I paid $65 for delivery of a steak, Burger w/Mashed Potatoes, and Apple Pie. The order arrives with fries instead of the Mashed Potatoes, and a monstrosity of an Apple Pie. See photos. For the amount it costs, you would think they would have some pride in their food presentation and quality.

1 odd thing. Table for 5 , I arrived early with sister and hostess said ” I can’t seat you until the rest of your party arrives. ( 2 other couples in the entire restaurant ) made no sense under circumstances.

Extremely Disappointing and Unsanitary
My recent visit to Applebee’s in La Plata was one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. The service was 0 out of 10. It took 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, and nearly 30 minutes more for food that arrived cold, incorrect, and poorly handled. The service was extremely slow, and the order accuracy was unacceptable. On top of that, the server informed us that the restaurant did not even have real silverware available and could only offer plastic utensils, which is unacceptable for dine-in service.
What made the experience even worse was the condition of the bathroom. It looked like something you would find in a neglected gas station—dirty, unkept, and clearly lacking any proper cleaning or maintenance. This creates a terrible impression, especially when visiting with my entire family.
This location shows a serious lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and basic hospitality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this Applebee’s to anyone looking for a decent meal or a sanitary environment.

We ordered Carside To Go. The Bourbon Chicken & Shrimp had no bourbon sauce on it at all. The Salmon and Shrimp were not bad. The quality of the food seemed a little below the value of the meals.
