Whitney was phenomenal she was attentive and very polite. We got the spaghetti special with garlic bread. The food was delicious and very filling. We would come back just for the garlic bread but that pasta was awesome too. I wish that other Sapps had kept their Apple barrels as they usually had great hearty meals. For better prices too.

Ill start by mentioning this…I thought this place looked and felt pretty clean, starting with the menus.
We had breakfast (see pics) and it was OK, nothing I would come back to.
The biscuits had way to much gravy for my taste (others may disagree) and the portions were fairly small. Husbands hash browns were burned and had to ask for some that were not, but this is something the cook or server should have seen before bringing plate out
The server was super friendly and attentive 🙂

Waitress flirting with customer, letting another customers food sit in window getting cold. When she wasn’t flirting she was on her phone. Dirty tables everywhere. Served stale iced tea. Our meals were “meh” at best. Chicken fried chicken, instant lumpy mashed potatoes, and congealed white tasteless gravy. Limp garden salad with ranch dressing. Ranch dressing was the best part of the meal. Music from the kitchen made regular conversation almost impossible. May 3ed at 5:00 pm

It was 5 mins to closing time (11 pm) and I asked if my wife and I could eat and the woman was super nice and said yes that it was fine. They seemed like they had a long night and they were just finishing. The hamburgers were great! They tasted homemade. Really well done, only complaint would be that the bun was very crispy but overall not bad at all. The place is clean a few thing out of date but still home based. The staff have a family and friend vibe. My experience was great. Thank you for serving my wife and I so late. To the people who got steak at this place you guys are hilarious!!!!! Why would you get steak!!!!! Lol

I was weary of trying this restaurant after reading some of the reviews but the service and food was great! Tried one of the salads with ham, turkey and bacon-very filling. Didn’t catch the waitress’s name but she was sweet and attentive. I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped to eat here was about 7:45pm when we sat down. Sophie the waitress
tells us we need to order asap she closes at 8pm. So I ordered the 1/2 order chicken fried chicken. Hubby orders country fried steak. We both got the country fried steak. When I questioned the waitress she says she put it in as what we ordered. And says sorry. Didnt offer to make it right. We asked for crispy fries no salt they came crispy but with salt and the mixed vegetables disgusting. Asked for ranch she threw it on the table. I do NOT recommend when stopoing here when this particular waitress is on. She gave attitude the whole night.

I had lunch on July 3, 2025, and my waitress, Whitney, provided a level of service that I didn’t think existed anymore.
To management: I would do whatever it takes to keep her happy. I can get a good steak almost anywhere, but great service is much harder to find.
