Probably the most delicious Cold Soba salad you’ll try, just try it. Sushi were excellent too. I got the omakase and the pieces came in 2 plates with 5 pieces each, each one was flavorful and fresh. My friend got a roll and really liked it toom Service is great, ambiance is fairly simple.
Update: if you are seating at the sushi bar somehow Omakase gets even better. Definitely recommend this place

So good I love. Have to return twice. The soba entree is amazing and flavorful. The sashimi set have the fattest juiciest pieces of tuna ever. The wasabi is real and tastes so different than artificial wasabi

I rarely write reviews but last night I had the most extraordinary dinner at Aoko. It is a beautiful little gem of a restaurant with a great vibe, and kind attentive service – for sure. But what compels me to write is the food … Simply amazing. We had the omokase and each serving was more incredible. My friend was visiting from SF and he said it was the best sushi he’s ever had! It truly a special dinner. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant!

I’ve been to many omakase restaurants across the country and this is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. Chef Daniel is truly exceptional. Every course was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully executed. The flavors, textures, and presentation were next level.

You can tell Chef Daniel cares deeply about his craft. He walks you through each dish with passion and precision, making the entire experience feel both elevated and personal. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was intimate, and the attention to detail was on point.

If you’re in Miami and love sushi or fine dining, this is a must. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience you’ll be thinking about long after you leave.

I don’t normally write reviews but left Aoko last night pleasantly surprised. I usually stick to my go to sushi spots but tried something new and thank goodness I did. This low key but still extremely elevated spot is a great spot for date night. Come dressed up or come as you are (I was in athleisure), the vibe lends itself to whatever you’re in the mood for!

The food was phenomenal and couldn’t believe they had cold soba noodles (Cha Soba Salad) on the menu… Miami has finally leveled up lol! I have to go to NY typically to get my fix of delicious cold soba noodles!

Now the service was also incredible-they allowed us to try a few sake options before we decided which was very generous. Servers are extremely kind and add to the vibe 100%. We showed up with no reservations and they kindly let us sit down. There are only few tables so a resi is recommended or come early.

Everything about this experience was 10/10 and this may be my new go to Friday spot! Miami, let’s keep these folks booked and busy because this is a gooood one. Need more authentic spots like this.

Oh and the matcha crème brûlée is also a must!!!!! Love it there. Thx goodness I live so close.

Price was also right ~$120 without tip for 2 and a bottle of sake is pretty unheard of these days. Quality of fish and everything was phenomenal.

Came for omakase to celebrate a birthday. We were disappointed to have every single piece (of both the sashimi and nigiri omakase) at our table within ~30 minutes of ordering – each brought altogether instead of piece by piece.

We took our time eating, but ended up only being at the restaurant for an hour and 15 minutes.

Then we got sick afterwards.

We were hoping for a notable, celebratory experience. But in this case, it seems like you get the experience that you pay for.
