We had a reservation for Valentine’s dinner at Anya Restaurant and chose the sharing menu for two through Hungry Hub. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing due to poor service and food quality.

We arrived at 7:30 pm, and at that time there was only one table occupied. We looked at the menu and placed our order shortly after. However, between then and 8:20 pm, four other groups arrived and were served 2–3 dishes each, while we received nothing.

The only thing we were served was one iced Thai tea, which was very diluted and tasted more like milk than tea — almost like old milk — with barely any tea flavor.

At 8:22 pm, our first dish finally arrived, and it was cold. The tofu dish that followed was good, but unfortunately the Pad Thai with prawns was unacceptable. The prawns smelled very fishy, and both the prawns and the noodles tasted like there was gasoline in them. There was no proper flavor at all.

Because of the poor quality, we could not eat the food and ended up walking out without finishing anything, including the iced tea. We didn’t even wait for our chicken tom yum soup to come out.

We were especially disappointed because we had visited in 2023 and were very impressed, which is why we decided to come back for Valentine’s Day. Sadly, this visit did not meet our expectations at all.

Based on this experience, we would not recommend this place and would advise others to avoid it until major improvements are made.

We hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve both service and food quality.

When I tasted this food it made me stop and start praying for the hands that made it. It looks beautiful, it smells amazing, but the flavor is even better than expected. The curry chicken changed my entire standard for the dish. My husband has celiac and the friendly staff accommodated to his needs. They had so many gluten free options to choose from. He said it was the best pad Thai he has ever had in his life! We had one alcoholic drink and one nonalcoholic drink and shared both. They were both delicious! They could not have done better. Definitely recommending this to our loved ones who will be in town later this month.

Great calm and relaxing atmosphere. Super fresh and delicious food prepared immediately and served perfectly. Great place for a lovely Thai lunch after a busy day at the Royal Grounds and Emerald Buddha. Fresh drinks and cold beer topped off a fantastic experience!

Came here twice , excellent both times. Lovely little place with good service, carefully prepared food. Air conditioning was so nice on a hot day. Loved my green curry with fish (it’s actually tasty fish balls) It was a yummy mix of exotic flavors and textures. Also loved the savory crepe (which is a little sweet) and my husband enjoyed the massaman. Not cheap but not expensive either .

We ate here for dinner on our first night in Bangkok, and came back a few days later for lunch. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is serene, and the service is attentive. Highly recommend.

My first visit to this place. A very cozy and colonial building. Was very impress with all cuisines. Thank you to Khun Gai for sharing the experience.

Everything was very tasty! We asked the staff for recommendations, and they did a great job guiding us through the curry selection. Each curry had a distinct flavor and the right level of spice — rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they put care into every dish. The service was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we’ll come back to for more.

Food is good and authentic, staff service is tip top. Despite located on an easy to miss row of shophouses, we found out about this restaurant online. We had our wedding lunch reception here after our photoshoot in Wat Ratchbophit.
It’s so nice of them to close the entire restaurant for our intimate lunch with a guest capacity of 20. Make our day even more special with their kind gestures and hospitality.
Our 5 courses specially curated lunch by their chef was superb from our guests’ responses. Pre-lunch enquiries like guests profile to suit their food palette.
IMO, it’s really value for your bucks.

Wow! What great food! Everything was incredible! From the big appetizer platter to the Mango sticky rice and a young coconut juice, I wish I had this place back home!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anya Thai Cuisine, a restaurant that offers a taste of Thailand for foreigners. The restaurant has a wide variety of Thai traditional appetizers, and the flavors are not as strong as local Thai food, making it more palatable for those who are not used to spicy food.

Here are some additional things to note about Anya Thai Cuisine:

1. The restaurant is located in the heart of Bangkok, so it is easy to get to after traveling around old town.
2. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
3.The restaurant offers a variety of Thai dishes, so there is something for everyone.
