Recommended to us by the concierge at Country Inn & Suites in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Our request of a local restaurant that had good food and a quiet atmosphere—Anton’s was fantastic! We even contemplated coming through town again just to eat there a second time! We had the glazed salmon and chicken Gouda penne pasta. The meal was finished with a delicious cheesecake by “Christina” and was so light and flavourful! Highly recommend Anton’s

We ate there last night and was happy to see that they extended their outdoor seating on the river. Very nice atmosphere outside the food was good could have a few more choices but I’m sure they are recovering from Covid.

It is always a pleasure to dine at Anton’s. We just walked in on Friday evening wanting walleye. I requested a table by the windows that look out over the river and that is where we were seated. Our waitress was awesome and our walleye was absolutely delicious.

Awful! I can’t believe the rating of this place! Popover was raw. “Steak” was a joke. I would not even call it steak. It was way overcooked and tasted like rubber. Can’t believe a place could be that bad.

A classic supperclub with incredible charm. Whether you’re in the vintage dining room or on the patio overlooking the river, Anton’s has great ambiance. And the food is great too! Don’t miss the popovers.

The ribeye steak was delicious and the popovers were amazing! There classic lemonade was right on and was the best that I have tasted in a very long time. I highly recommend this place for special occasions like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc… Completely satisfied with the food and atmosphere.

Great riverside tables inside and on a screened in porch. Delish food. For all steaks at our table they were one level above what we asked for (Medium was to us medium well.) so go rarer. Everything else was perfectly yummy–especially the signature popovers.

The service was horrible, and the food was bad. The popovers were cold and overcooked, the walleye was small with only five pieces of asparagus. When we left, we forgot some leftovers on the table, it had not even been five minutes and they had thrown it away. They just handed us the box from the trash and did not apologize or say anything. Worst restaurant ever.

Where to start…. they don’t have baked potatoes. The duck dish portion is small. The Asiago potatoes are basically hashbrowns. The blackened Ahi was more browned, under cooked. The steak ordered medium rare was more like rare. Stuffed mushrooms and crabcakes were great, but small portions there also. There are not enough choices on the menu. Dinner options should come with salad, that’s a given. I wouldn’t recommend Antons to anyone, at one time many years ago, it was the place to go.
