We are an independent pizzeria in Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood, serving up something for everyone. From our homemade sausage, meatballs, soup, and chili to our vegan menu , bubble tea, and gluten-free items, we have something delicious for everyone. Our focus is on making great, fresh, homemade food. To keep things interesting, we also often create seasonal specials such as Thanksgiving Pizza, Oktoberfest Pizza, and Shepherds Pie Pizza. I love this place so much. The food and service are fantastic. We’ve only had the pizza, cheese sticks, and poppers. But the menu is large enough that I want to come back and try other things. The pizza has a sweeter sauce, but not too sweet. The slices are huge, the poppers are cream cheese based, and the cheese sticks are a good size. I love the events they have here, the calendar is always full. They’re vegan, gf, and queer friendly. The atmosphere is eclectic, very colorful and fun.

Edited to say it took 40 minutes and now I get to eat cold pizza. I am extremely disappointed.
I love the food. It’s delicious. But every time I order delivery they forget our 2liter. This may sound petty. Blame it on the ‘tism. I cannot eat pizza without pop. I can’t. So every time I order I sit back and watch my family get to eat while I have to wait for the driver to return with the pop that I ordered. And today I am especially annoyed because I am pregnant, hormonal and starving and I live walking distance and it’s been 20 minutes since drop off and still no pop. It’s a shame to be disappointed every time I order delivery from here because the food is phenomenal. But seriously something needs to happen to help the driver remember to grab the pop.

Antonio’s has the city’s largest pizza shop vegan menu section (variety of item types)! I order delivery, or dine in, a few times a week, so, I think I like it a little TOO much.
They make their own vegan deli meats, cheeses and sauces, and my favorite vegan ranch. They have a whole vegan deli case, and you could get the items to take home, or as toppings and fillings.
All their bubble tea is vegan, and they have a great variety of drinks. The Black Forest Boba is a favorite for my kid and I! So good.
They offer vegan pizza, pizza boats, filled rolls, cheesy bread, garlic bread, pasta varieties, strombolis, calzones, gyros, hoagies, wraps, wedgies, salads, fries, fried pickles, waffle fries, chili cheese fries, seitan wings, chili, desserts such as strawberry crunch cake (tastes like the ice cream bars from when I was a kid!!) and cheesecake, falafel, vegan fried fish (tofu), seasonal holiday roast, pretzels with biercheese, and more!
In addition to the regular menu, they have a great catering menu, and will make special items to fit the theme of your party or event!
I have them cater or vend at my events regularly, as I’m impressed with all the themes they so creatively match. They also seasonally switch it up and offer some new featured items.
They’ve catered unique themes for me, such as, Irish, Flowers & Spring, holidays, and even an alien-themed party (they made vegan “martian meatballs”, with themed drinks and desserts to go with it)! They also vend at my events with Pittsburgh Vegan Expo/The Original Pittsburgh Vegan Festival & Pittsburgh Halloween Festival.
They have many weekly events in their new dining room, all kid-friendly, such as game night, karaoke, open mic and live music.
They are very involved with the community, and love to do activities, offer help, and be part of things.
Oh, and they have a couple pinball machines!

I’m very surprised at how delicious this pizza was! Antonio’s not only has delicious regular pizza and other Italian items (pasta, sandwiches, calzones, etc), but they apparently have great vegan options as well! I tried their cheese pizza (a slice), cheese calzone, and cheesecake.
The cheese calzone was very good. It was a tad on the oily side, but not excessively so. It was stuffed with a ton of cheese, and a great amount of ricotta.
The crust/bread part was also really well made (although, maybe a bit too much bread). Crispy on the edges and it was topped with a sprinkling of parmesan. Delicious sauce on the inside that didn’t make it soggy at all. Fair price for the portion.
The cheese pizza was amazing! The red sauce is so flavorful. It has a nice hint of spice, some herbs in there as well, and some sweetness to balance it out. The crust isn’t too thin or too thick. And the portion is – oh my gosh, it is huge! Delicious cheese. The only negative I would say is the crust is kind of mediocre.
The cheesecake was also so tasty and clearly homemade. The top is a bit more yogurt-like and creamy. Then, it gets more cheese like and harder toward the bottom. It reminds me of Tvorog cheese if you have ever had that. So good. Somehow not too heavy. Only downside is that the cracker bottom is very crumbly and not that flavorful.
All in all, this place is simply amazing. The pizza is delicious, the calzone is delicious, the cheesecake is delicious, it’s all delicious! And, very clearly homemade. The prices are awesome for the portions, too. Definitely come here.

I got 2 plain single slices and I have bad texture issues but the pizza I got barely bothered me at all! The only thing I had an issue with was the sauce. It was a bit chunky for my liking (I prefer sauce to be completely smooth, no little chunks of tomato) and the taste was a tad tangy, but in no way was it “bad”, the texture of the sauce just threw me off a bit and that’s no one’s issue but mine.
The staff was also supper friendly, I rarely go out and order food on my own but I decided to challenge myself today and the lady that took my order was so patient with me even though I was stuttering and making a fool of myself lol.
Overall I had an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu!!!

Such a fun pizza place! The vibes were so good! They had board games and things to entertain yourself while you wait. Forgot to take a pic of the food cus we ate it immediately (it was delicious)

Not exactly sure how healthy and the establishment is saying no hair nets or gloves being used. One objection that I had was watching a guy peel dough off of his arms one at a time and place them on the table to be made into something else. I can’t see how his arm hairs aren’t going to get sucked into your food. Just from that and what I’ve seen I would not eat here.

My initial response is optimistic. I have high hopes for the pizza. It has good bones, however the order was messed up and did not include the mushrooms and onions as ordered. While talking with the cashier, he told me the vegan options started that evening and they received over fifty orders in the previous half hour. I look forward to editing this review after they work out the kinks and can handle the vegan orders.
Edit: I tried this place again. The results were much better. The new paper menu lists vegan options with a star and they got the order correct. Highly recommend.
