A local institution (since 1971), this casual spot serves Italian specialties & thin-crust pizzas.

I’ve been driving past Antonio’s for years and finally decided to give it a try — and wow, I’m glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how nice it was. It has that old-school New York pizzeria vibe that just feels right.
We loved the cheese pizza and Antonio’s Special — both were outstanding. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and done just right.
We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

There aren’t enough good words I can say about Antonio’s.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that you can bring everyone in your family to, this is it. If you aren’t from Houston and you grew up with that small mom and pop Italian place that had classic, delicious Italian food. This is that.
From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everyone was friendly. The service was kind and fast. The food was delicious. DELICIOUS.
We ordered the calamari, chicken soup, kids chicken fingers, kids pizza, Chicken Franchese and Chicken Parm. Everything was excellent. Our kids loved the food.
This is like a little escape from the world. Good, classic food with a clean, friendly environment and reasonably priced. I can’t say enough good things. We will definitely be back. Maybe tomorrow. It was that enjoyable.

For sure one of our favorite pizza places in Houston. The only critique is it’s missing some Italian seasoning. But man it was so good. Service was nice and didn’t feel rushed.

The service was on point. Just the correct amount of attentiveness. The support for our server was outstanding allowing him to attend to the immediate needs of others. The pizza did fly! Very entertaining. The only reason for a four-star atmosphere was, children’s birthday parties. There at the same time created quite a bit of noise. However, I definitely recommend Antonio’s!

The entire menu is great but the spaghetti with meatballs or meat sauce ( I get both ) is the best I’ve ever had. If you are in Houston I definitely recommend trying it out.

Great pizza eating experience. It has that classic pizzeria feel.
I only tasted the 10” pizza with pepperoni and sausage so I cannot comment on a variety of dishes. However the pizza was hot, tasted freshly made and the ingredients were very tasty.
The exterior and interior is dated, although it doesn’t feel run down. It was clean inside and out. I gave it 3 stars because it’s average atmosphere.
Service was friendly and attentive as I was in a group of 24 people over lunch.
The parking is a little tight so be patient finding a spot. There is parking both in the back and front.
I’d recommend and I’ll be back.

Haven’t been back since the mid 90s and it is still every bit as good as I remembered. Great throwback to how a proper family restaurant should be! Great service and phenomenal food. The sauce is just right, doesn’t kill you with acidity but packs a smooth yet subtle flavor that really marries the pasta and protein. Treat yourself and party by ordering a pizza as a starter, really great pie!

Pretty Cozy atmosphere ✨️ the F Alfredo pasta was good but not impressive. I would give the pasta I had a 6.5 out of 10, but I’m definitely coming back and trying a different pasta and see if I change my mind!! My husband said the pizza was mid, and he also said a 7 out of 10!!
Overall, it was a very cute place. The staff was very attentive and friendly, with 10/10 service.

This is an old school Italian restaurant that made it’s name with pizza. I have been coming here since 1975 and have always loved their pizza. They do everything right, from warm bread with salted butter pats to the Andes mints with your check. Tonight I had the baked clams and the Antonio Pizza. Both were outstanding. As good as the food was, the service was as well. Do yourself a favor and dine here, it will be a treat.

Ambiance and service are both like old Italy. Not that I’ve been to Italy, but I’ve studied it and heard plenty of stories from travelers. Right as you walk in, a man is preparing handmade pizza and flipping the dough up in the air (hence the fun sign). They start you out with bread and butter. Oil and balsamic vinegar are available on request to dip your bread. The bread is warm and flaky. Very good. We got calamari for our appetizer. It is served with warm delicious marinara sauce and fried well. It was good, but needed a hint more seasoning. We ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo and lasagna to share. The lasagna is wonderful. Arrives at the table still bubbling. The meat and sauce are spot on and perfect! The chicken fettuccine alfredo was very good noodle and sauce wise, but the chicken itself was a little dry and had very little seasoning. The sauce helped a lot to make it tastier. $65.79 (before tip) for our meal (no alcohol). It was a very good night and I’m happy we settled on this restaurant. I hate to only give 4 stars, but my reviews are always very honest. It might have been an off night, which I understand happens. I would definitely recommend this establishment and will be back to try other dishes. The pizzas looked fantastic. Maybe we will try that next. Arrive early, especially on the weekend. We were seated right away at 5:30, but people lined up shortly after us and the wait was long. That says something. They have carry out available, if that suits you better.
